New Patreon fee system (Patreon)

This post is a little different than usual. I don't know if you have been notified about this yet but Patreon wants to change up their fee system so that all supporters pay the same fee, an extra fee on top of what you pledged, so that "creators now take home exactly 95%".

Problem is, if you take the new fee in count, this assessment is plain wrong. For all of you 1$ supporters, you will pay more than you used to and I will only get 69% of it all. Even from 8$ pledges I will still get a little less than 90% of what you will actually play.

To put it simply: you will pay more money so that I receive more money, except I'm actually gonna get a lower portion of the total you pay. But you will definitely pay more money.

This is very embarrassing for me as I directly depend of Patreon's services and was not consulted over these changes. That is why I sent them an open letter on their feedback form and on Twitter.

If you have the time for it, I would suggest you also voice your concerns on their feedback form.
