Hi patrons!

I know I'm much more quiet than usual these days, I'm super sorry about that and also super thankful for your patience!

As you know I'm still working on the contract game and it's keeping me very busy. I hoped that I could get more time this week for other stuff but I actually ran into major unexpected complications and only got very little time.

You can see on the gif that at least the game is advancing pretty well! I've been implementing, well, the Earth. And there's a list of 754 cities around the world that can get targeted by the rockets. One of the major complications was to make the Earth model work with the city GPS coordinates.

I had to try a lot of different types of mathematical distortions on the surface texture. I read whole paragraphs of Wikipedia articles of which I understood nothing. It was very frustrating.

The current version is to be considered "good enough", even though my perfectionist side really wants to spend more time on it. I can't. I don't have more time to spend on this.

But hey, it's looking pretty good, isn't it?! I love seeing the Earth upside-down for some reason, it's just not something you see very often I guess. :D

About the Wave Function Collapse implementations, I'm giving it all the time I can find. I've been optimizing memory and now I'm optimizing CPU to make it faster. I also have to make it more clever because it is too prone to contradictions currently. You can see the last gifs of it in action over there

Then I want to try making it work with animations, with time as third dimension to the generation.

And then I want to try something else and even though I really want to tell you, I also want to keep it a surprise. :X

Please understand that the longer you'll wait for the logic data generation Doodle Insights, the longer and more thorough it will be.

Thank you again for your patience, you're the best patrons!

And thanks for reading, have a nice [day/evening/night]!
