Widowmaker Facesitting Tracer (Animation) (Patreon)

Before I stepped away I was working on animating this. It's not exactly as refined as I want it to be and that being the fluidity of the characters themselves. However I recently fired up Blender again and really didn't want the headache of picking up in the middle of a big project like this one. So I decided to just render what had been completed. It was taking FOREVER in the Cycles engine though. The 25 second Cycles portion took around 140 hours to render and was broken up into 20 individual sections so I could use my PC at times without it being stuck rendering for days on end. At some point I decided to check out the other rendering engine on Blender called Eevee. It's not as powerful but is so much faster than Cycles. The Eevee version took around 20 hours to complete and are nearly 3 times longer. I was also able to render everything that had been completed with it too. While I personally like the movie level quality of Cycles more, quantity over quality is going to have to take priority when it comes to animations. Especially if I want to make animations longer than 5 seconds long. And honestly, the Eevee engine doesn't look that bad. It took some learning to get it to look this way but overall I'm satisfied with the outcome. I'll still be making images and stories using Cycles though.
