Thank you everyone for joining and supporting my novice writing efforts.

So this poll is being reposted and updated so please select the story you joined my Patreon to follow.  This feedback will help me choose where to apply extra writing efforts.  Right now three stories are getting a minimum of two chapters a week, The First World Sphere, Town Builder and Starship Engineer.  This will not change and only 'bonus' chapters for the week will be added.  The other two stories I am working on, An Incubus Life and A Soldier's Life, are slated to get one chapter a week.  So that is 8 chapters a week of writing...a little over 20 hours of work on my end. I am on vacation this week (11/22 - 11/29) so I am working on extra chapters but generally, my limit is going to be 8 a week.  I see these five stories all lasting a few hundred chapters and I know I need to go back and do some grammar overhauls on earlier chapters.

Beware Smut. No denying it pays well but is this how you want to remembered? No going back later. Think back to a movie... guy wanted to act....but became a porn star or something to get fame but he couldn't get time of day from producer. At the end... a delivery boy. It was honest work

Came for Starship Engineer. Tried out all the others you had posted and continue to actively follow.. Starship Engineer + World Sphere.

I'm enjoying the first 3; I comment all the time... no brainer. Hard to pick a favorite. First Sphere has a lot of life in it...more than the others; starting earlier is key. I get you need to grow as an author, but don't diversify too much... please.

it is looking more balanced than the last poll. it is wed before thanksgiving and I got family stuff today and most of tomorrow but hope to get some edits posted and the next Chap of starship engineer done

I'm more of a binge reader; you spread out too much and I'll drop patron and leave you on 'read later' for 3-6 mos and then re-evaluate based on volume. World is going to shit atm- bad time to be a writer all over the map... need to focus

alwaysrollsaone

are you asking in the title or the name of the document? the title may be feasible but the saved title would cause too many issues, I am trying to add the dates to the release summary. Is that not working well enough?

alwaysrollsaone

what if in 'release notes' i leave the dates of the last two chapters posted and when I think the next chap will be posted. i have already had to spend a lot of time changing chapt names...i found the simpler the better for viewing and future edits

It's why I always ref what chapter I'm commenting on, etc. Most authors create a new, automatically dated, post for each...while you add a new attachment to a single post. I'm sorely tempted to make my own book of your story using Word... table of contents...and if necessary, my own description of the chapter. It's more of less what I was asking for with spells. Alas, I can only do that for myself. I can't share it.

I did it for Randidly Ghosthound... .until it got into the 1000's... Still when I'm in a low bandwidth area... makes a nice kindle read. Your stories might too... in time

If you split the works into their own categories you could make an individual post for each chapter upload. This would automatically chronologically date them. While also keeping each story in its own effective 'folder'. It lets people individually engage and comment on each chapter. The only real downside is that if you're a new subscriber you have more scrolling to do to access/download each chapter. However you should only have to do that once.
