How to draw : Anime Eyes (Type 2) (Patreon)

Beside form the basic type. There is at least 3 type of anime eyes people can draw and adapt. This is one of them.

Type 2 (in the picture) is  designed to make drawing irises easier by adding lower eyelids (you don't need to practice drawing circle a lot in this one), which given an advantage to newbie who trying to draw Anime and that is the reason why ther are a lot of variant of Type 2 out there. However it comes with its downsides. 

First, lower eyelids of Type 2 adding lower eyelashes, which easily can be f**ked up. Second is the pupils are required to adding more detail (unlike basic one) and overly detailed is no good news.

The procedue is not different from the basic, which is :

1 ) Draw an eyes level then draw upper eyelids.

2 ) Draw irises (the color part of the eye).

3 ) Extend upper eyelid downward then draw the eyelash area (red).

4 ) Draw pupils area

Note :

• Keep lower eyelashes thin. Unless you want a little fun on your drawing.
• Try not to stretch your irises too much. My recommend is try to keep it in square shape like the picture above.
• Pupils need to be a bit large and keep the irises not to thin and not to wide.

Challenge :

• Make a Type 2 eyes with good custom lower BIG eyelashes.
