Hello again Angel fans!  This post is about the timing of our next release. We're getting closer! We recently started beta testing MLA 0.8.9. It will be finished in another week or so, after which we will release MLA 0.8.9 for our patrons ($3+). This version will be made public in the next year.

Thanks again for being fans of My Little Angel and for waiting so patiently as we develop the next release.  

Your wait is almost over.  In the meantime, here's a one more small survey about game types so we can get some ideas for future games. 

 Which genre of games on our subject do you like more?

"Real gameplay" is great, but honestly, for a small indy developer it's hard to put a quality gaming experience out there without the smut taking a serious hit. I think the Akabur-style RPG/VN hits a sweet spot; more fun than the Japanese VNs (which are great, but not really "games") but a lot easier to create than a "real" game. That being said, a single developer creating an engaging "real" sex game can be done: Kerni's amazing "Abandoned: A Tale Of Forgotten Lives" is one of the sexiest and most entertaining H-games out there... but it took him years to complete. RPGMaker can be good, if it's well done. (Sierra Lee's games come to mind.) Unfortunately 90% of RPGM games would be better off done in Ren'Py, since they basically just use an annoying map as a glorified menu.

I think that you are doing great job with your game. Mine opinion is that the idea is always more important than the graphics and real gameplay. And you are game is one of the best adult games. Anyway wish in next releases things to go a little bit better for Anabel :) But that is only in my mind :) Anyway great job !

All styles have their niche. I think you should choose the one you like. The style that you understand best. How to create, how to promote and so on. Then it will be a good product that will appeal to us.
