Hi everyone! its March, you might already know that this is the Chinese year of the Rabbit, well, on march 12 the Aztec year begins and its also the year of the Rabbit (Rabbit 10, to be precise) this coincidence will not repeat probably until our lifetime, so I wanted to do something, here is Coyolxauhqui, The Aztec moon and all the moon Rabbits to celebrate! I will make this public on march 12 when the Aztec new year begins, and everyone is welcomed to post something Rabbit or Aztec-themed that day on your webs (use the hashtags #xiuiluitl_Tochtli or #Aztec_year_of_the_rabbit.)

(Also, a version with one less rabbit (you know which one) for the Patreons on the 3 tier and above )

I watched a video explaining Coyolxauhqui and the stone plate this is based off of after seeing this. It was funny, the person on the video kept calling her by her transliterated name "Bells Her Cheeks" because she couldn't pronounce Coyolxauhqui correctly!

I wouldn't even translate "Cascabel" into "bells" they are closer to "Rattle" I guess Coyolxauhqui, like many Aztec names, are really difficult to pronounce in English.
