Coco the Snake (Patreon)

Coco is the main character of "The last days of the cat king" a Prequel story to the world of Macoatl that I posted online back in 2017. I have always been proud of this story and liked her design a lot (She is based on Olmec art), but the other day I posted her pose and expression studies that I made before the comic on Twitter someone pointed out that she looked like a racist caricature, and once I saw it, I just couldn't unsee it. I don´t think that was actually the case on the finished comic (There are some really unflattering expressions there that I never used in the comic because they just looked ugly) but I took it by heart and decided to fine-tune her design, the color sheet is the result of that(the turnaround is also old but posterior to the comic). What do you think?

Coco es el personaje principal de "Los últimos días del rey gato", una precuela del mundo de Macoatl que publiqué en el  2017. Siempre me sentí orgullosa de esta historia y me gusta mucho su diseño, pero el otro día al publicar en twitter los  estudios de pose y expresión que hice antes hacer el comic, alguien me señaló que parecía una caricatura racista, y una vez que lo vi, simplemente no pude dejar de verlo. No creo que ese fuera tan notorio en el cómic terminado, pero lo tomé apecho y decidi afinar su diseño, la hoja de color es el resultado de eso (La rotation es de antes de que me lo hicieran notar, pero posterior al comic). ¿Qué opinan?
