Yeah the actor who plays dennis decided to leave the show as he wanted to focus on other projects

Hehe. The thing is, it is actually kind of true. Glenn's future with the show for S13 and beyond was legitimately, and openly/publicly known to be in doubt at the time that this episode came out. So for most of us watching when the episodes were first airing, we had to wait a year thinking there was a very good chance that Dennis was gone for good. The reveal with him returning at the end of Episode 1 in S13 was actually a big reveal. I wondered if the girl in their crew was going to be tried as a full time character or something before it was revealed. One difference in S13/14 for sure, though, is that Glenn was not one of the writers anymore, he was only an Actor for the first time. Thankfully he returns to the writing staff in S15.
