I don't like Filip, but I really can't stand Clarissa. Filip is a teenager and has been raised by his lunatic father, but Clarissa was an adult when she murdered hundreds, and responsible for thousands of more deaths. She's redeemable in the books, but not in the show In the Strange Dogs portion of the show, Cara's family are the original scientists/settlers on Laconia that came there after the ring gates opened...they're from Earth. The break-away Martian fleet didn't arrive until later, and are now settling in and taking over. Cortazar had the PM sample with him on Laconia, as shown in S5. The Barkeith obviously didn't have the sample when it disappeared last season. Love the new character of Walker...'I intimidate him sexually'. lol
