The Cat Woman bristled and hissed.  The sense of claustrophobia was crushing her. and her budding rage wasn't helping calm the situation.  The night sky outside called from behind the curtain, and with it the hope of escape and reparation.

Her swollen claws clumsily shoved the window open before she began to slide out with animal agility.  She turned back and gave one last glance to her so called friend.  For a moment, there was a glimmer of sadness there, human and vulnerable but her face quickly twisted into a feral hiss, angry and wild.

With that, April was gone, and the Cat Woman disappeared into the night.
