April was too busy hissing and writhing on all fours to focus, but her large fleshy ears twitched from the auburn mess of hair as Irma spoke low with a soft smirk.

"Y'know, it's a damn shame I don't getta keep you all to myself.  Gotta say, I much prefer you like this.  Still, it'll all be worth it in the end..."

Irma clenched a fist excitedly and whispered "A new start!"

April's pale, inhuman eyes fixed upon Irma with a flicker of realization, as if the old April was in there somewhere still,  helplessly observing her own descent into beasthood.

"Rraow?" came the muted and confused reply as the Cat Woman looked up, frightened and shivering as the fur bristled around her shoulders.

"Pretty soon, you're gonna pass out, and when ya wake up, there ain't gonna be no more April O'Neil Nightly News bullshit.  In fact there ain't gonna be any more April O'Neil, period!"

"What h-have yeeeow.. yeow done to mrrrr?!" April asked pitifully, stumbling over her words with panic and pain.

"Me? I can't take all the credit. I didn't really do nuthin', I'm just here to keep an eye on ya.
