Easily one of the top five richest people in the city, Selina Kyle's wealth has been the subject of much speculation over the years, and some have even tried to link the glamorous public figure with a series of cat burglaries and jewel thefts long in the past.  These curious types never seem to make it to print with their stories however.

Some say they fear her, others admire her, and perhaps a little of both is appropriate.  Her staggering rise to the top of the social ladder was littered with whispers of foul play, lewd behavior and all sorts of devious acts, but with no solid evidence against her, Ms Kyle continues to charm her way through life's troubles. Selina's name is now attached to many projects (although most off the record) and businesses around the globe, and although her exact role in each remain a mystery, she likes to play the part of hostess at her nightclub, The Diamond Kitty.

It's from here where she usually runs her side of operations, motivated by her thirst for power but also her debt. She owes her life to science, and now science wants some more lives in return.
