Toying with hair and wardrobe for Irma from the classic TMNT.

What do you guys think?  Am I nearly there?  Should I try something totally different?

EDIT: Added 3 more, slightly more youthful versions

Hmm the hairstyle is hard choice. First one is looks good and fits to character but the second one is way more authentic. The clothes are simply perfect. I can't wait to see these two in action.

I think you're right. I was going for more believable character over glam and cute, but yeah, maybe looks a little old for Irma. It's probably the nasolabial creases and the nose. Noses keep growing as we age and tend to hang lower over time too. I could probably scale it back/perk it up, or play with the underlying face shape some more. Good feedback though, thanks

I think the second hairstyle makes her look way too old. I think the first hairstyle is good but feels a bit flat, maybe raising the hair area up in the back to look more like the model from the cartoon might help? Idk what clothes you can use but maybe a different sweater leggings combo?

"It's probably the nasolabial creases and the nose." That's exactly what I thought, but I didn't know the technical term. They look like wrinkles (even had to check what the english word was for that - crap, I'm getting rusty with my english). ^^ The nose bridge seems too angular, too.

So we'll see Irma in a TF sequence, or will we just see both her and April naked in bed or in the shower? Or in an aftermath scene in the forest?

Pics 7-8 look much better! I think the first hairstyle would be closer to the original character with some tweaks. Have the ponytail pulled higher on her head and thin out the bangs in front. Loose strands on the sides and a few bits hanging in the middle, but with more forehead visible.

I like the later hairstyles. I prefer it when the women at least start with their hair up and you can see more on the TF.

Yep, when dealing with established characters, I'm often torn between what's accurate and what's just really really good looking. Sometimes a particular outfit might be very close to what I need, but lacks versitility or quality, othertimes, I find something that's a little different to what I was aiming for, but that suits the mood of the character. Irma's baggy sweater dress would be a good example: It's not what she wore exactly in the old series, but (to my eye at least) looks better than the skirt and smaller sweater I toyed with.
