hello my patient and kind patrons! finally feeling back in good health and catching up on editing this month...thank you again so much for being patient and sticking with me, and for all the well wishes...it's so nice after doing this for a few months now to feel a sense of community with you all.

I won't go on and on but just to let you know -- I got diagnosed with 2 kinds of skin cancer (one of which was melanoma) in October and had to have a bunch of surgeries to get rid of it all (including having lymph nodes removed to make sure the cancer hadn't spread). It was a very anxiety filled month but I'm happy to report I'm currently cancer free and feeling great. I have a bunch of cool scars now haha. And also I'd like to remind you all to get your skin checked regularly, especially if you have fair skin and lots of moles! I went to the dermatologist about a completely different thing and they just happen to find the melanoma while I was there. If I hadn't gone, my story may have had a different ending. :-/
