Chapter 168: Intermission - Noticing changes.

Grace turned off the running water in her shower, took her towel hanging from a close by peg and stepped out. With the towel wrapped around her, she exited the bathroom and went over to her walk-in closet to choose her outfit for that Sunday outing.

She was going to her boyfriend’s house again, with Mila and Sarah. It was nothing TOO special, but Oliver said his mother would be out of town all day and that his sister would probably go out as well. And since they lost their little love nest at school, they were all a little pent up.

The thought of doing it on his bed made Grace shiver. If they really did get some confirmed time alone, she was going to ride him so fucking hard he’d see stars. But even if she was going to take it all off, it didn’t mean she could slack off on her outfit. She needed to look cute, or else Mila and Sarah would completely outstage her.

She hung her wet towel on a hanging rack for the moment and walked naked to the spot where her dresses were. She chose a red one to try out first. He liked seeing her in red, he said. When she stepped in front of the large, full mirror, she caught herself smiling widely. However, she frowned once she started to give herself a more detailed look over and walked closer to the mirror.

Her hair was damp and loose, obviously, but there were other things that caught her attention. Her own skin felt and looked incredibly smooth, like she’d bathed in expensive creams, yet she’d used none of them. She almost didn’t want to believe it, but she thought she looked thinner, too. A quick check on the scale confirmed it. Last time she’d weighed herself, two months ago, she was at 56 kilos. Now she was sitting comfortably at 52. Four whole kilos gone in two months, and she hadn’t gone on any special diet or done any particularly harsher exercise routine. It wasn’t sudden, really. She thought had noticed herself losing some weight, but only now was she confirming it.

Grace remembered Sarah had told her that a person should not try to lose more than 1.5 kilos a month or it could be dangerous, but the surprising thing was that Grace felt absolutely amazing. She’d never had so much energy in her life. She was getting great sleep, waking up early wasn’t an issue anymore, and she even indulged in one or two more sweets a month than she usually would. And it wasn’t only that she looked thinner, but her figure was absolutely perfect. Her stomach and her waist were free of any extra fat, enhancing her hourglass figure even more.

It didn’t add up, did it? She was eating more sweets, and even if it wasn’t overindulgence, she should still be gaining weight rather than losing it. She felt healthy, too. Why was this happening? What was different?

Oliver.

Before meeting Oliver, and when she had a boyfriend, Grace would only have sex twice a month, maybe thrice. Those encounters were also short, no more than ten minutes, 15 if she was lucky. But Oliver… Sex with him was both intense and long lasting. If they had time, he could very well go for over five hours. That HAD to be a better workout than an hour of stationary bike exercise.

But there was also her condition, her skin. Now that she thought about it, she was also using less creams, less make up. She’d read that good sex could have a big impact on a person's health and mood, but to this extent? Her mind went to old thoughts, ideas she had started to dismiss as no more than her imagination after getting used to things.

Her boyfriend wasn’t normal. Five hours of sex with three girls? With barely any rest? And it was said girls who gave in first? Oliver was a monster, and after two months, Grace was getting used to it, but it wasn’t normal in the slightest. He was a virgin when they met, and he still was better than any other guy she had been with! Yet… Could her good health, skin condition, weight loss really be because of him?

She’d have to ask Mila and Sarah. One case wasn’t enough empirical evidence, but of those two were experiencing similar things, then…

Grace sighed and began to put on a black satin bra.

Everything had to do with Oliver nowadays, and she wasn’t sure how she felt about it. She loved him, and wanted to be with him all the time, but was that a good thing? She’d already made the mistake of committing too hard to a relationship before, and it didn’t end well that time. Oliver was different, of that she was 100% sure of, but even so…

“You’re such a handful…” She muttered to herself with a pouty face. “Doesn’t help that the weird ideas haven’t stopped.”

Weird ideas.

Oliver was getting popular, though he didn’t realize it, and Grace didn’t want to tell him. She didn’t want to add more pressure on his shoulder, since she knew he would start to panic if he knew that people, especially girls, were talking about him, about the hot waiter at that popular coffee shop. That they were talking about the guy who was friends with the three troublemakers, all of whom likely had the hots for him. They were talking about the quiet best friend of the basketball team’s captain. That last one Grace found funny, since they really did give off that impression, but she was sure neither of them would call the other that out of embarrassment. Boys were silly like that most of the time.

Oliver was getting popular, getting a lot of attention from other girls. And Grace didn’t hate it. Worse, she even kinda liked it.

The image of Oliver, her Oliver, the socially anxious boy who couldn’t even talk to people before, growing to have his own harem of sexy girls was… exciting, and arousing. And even crazier  was the belief that Oliver himself would very much like it, though he probably would never admit it.

The thought would pop into her mind every time she overheard a girl talking about him, or when she saw him standing next to one. Thoughts like ‘he would totally blow her mind after five minutes’, or even the more extreme ‘she’d be such a nice slut for him.’

It was weird, it was crazy, and she couldn’t stop thinking it would be amazing. If somebody could do it, it was him. He would love it, too, she was sure. But every time she thought that, she forced herself to remember all the complications that could come with it. Even if she was okay with it, what about Sarah and Mila? What if this new girl caused troubles? It was too risky. It could mess up their whole relationship, and that possibility terrified her.

Maybe it was time to stop holding it in. She had to bring this up to the girls.

Yes, it was a good idea. They’d call her crazy, an idiot, and finally get the dumb idea out of her head.

Chapter 169: Parenting?

I was alone in my house that Sunday morning. Well, not exactly alone. There was a tiny cat who would start screaming at me if I went into the bathroom. I know there are people out there who find it funny, but I’m not pooping with a cat staring at me.

I had to be careful of Cake’s clinginess. On the one hand, it was cute. On the other, it was dangerous for both of us. I read that it was important to set boundaries, but at the same time, this cat had been separated from its family early on. Of course she’d be clingy. Balancing affection with rule enforcing was a tough act. It made me believe I understood just a tiny bit of what being a parent was like.

Anyway, the girls would arrive in about an hour, so I decided to play with Cake in the living room until she got tired. That said, the girl had energy. I was waving this wand with a feathered toy tied to it by a cord and Cake would not get tired of chasing it. The first time she jumped high to catch it I was so surprised I started laughing.

I waited a bit to feed her, though. I still remembered how she reacted to my girlfriends, and that was just unacceptable. And as you know by now, I’m not big on choosing one thing over the other, so I had plans to let Cake get accustomed to the girls.

The bell rang at 11:00 am. I went to open the door and saw all three girls there. They all came in Sarah’s car.

“Morning!” Mila greeted cheerfully.

“Morning.” I made space at the door to let them in. For a moment I thought Grace was giving me a scrutinizing look, but that went away just as she kissed my cheek.

“Are you alone?” Sarah asked, fixing on her shoulder the backpack she was carrying.

“Not if you count her,” I said, looking behind me towards the approaching cat.

“Cake!” Mila was about to rush to the kitten, but I held her back.

“Wait. I have a plan.”

I led the girls to the kitchen and Cake followed. She knew what was supposed to happen and was eagerly waiting for it. It distracted her from the fact that there were strangers around.

I had already prepared her formula, so I filled the syringe and picked Cake up. The kitten forgot all about the world and drank her milk in pure bliss. But after the first few sips, I looked at Mila and gave her the syringe.

“M-Me?”

“Yeah. Just do it slowly.”

Mila swallowed, inched the syringe closer to Cake’s mouth and watched as the cat completely forgot she disliked her and drank her milk.

“Oh my God!” Mila squealed in hushed tones. “She’s adorable!”

After a few more sips, Mila gave the syringe to Grace, and then Grace gave it to Sarah. They kept feeding the cat in my arms until she drank three syringes worth of milk. We watched Cake lick her mouth and whiskers.

“I’m gonna steal her from you,” Grace said, giggling.

“This isn’t my only weapon, you know?” I smirked. We went up to my room, where the girls easily made themselves comfortable on my bed. I set Cake there as well and brought out the ultimate weapon from my drawer. “Here you go,” I told Mila, passing her a cat brush.

Mila reached for Cake tentatively, but the moment the brush made contact with her back, the purring began.

“You’re a cat whisperer already, aren’t you?” Sarah said, surprised.

I shrugged and sat down on the bed as well. “She likes eating and getting brushed. I don’t want her to act aggressive towards guests, so I read on how to fix those bad habits.”

“What a responsible parent,” Grace teased.

I kept a straight face, but I felt my cheeks heat up. “My sister brought her, but I agreed to be responsible for her, too. I need to do my part.”

“And that means staying home with the cat while she goes out?” Sarah asked me.

“I volunteered,” I clarified. “It meant that… You know, I could… invite you over.”

Grace crawled on the bed and hugged me from behind, planting soft kisses on my neck. “Do you have dirty ideas in that pretty head of yours?”

“Kind of, but I can wait until next week if you girls prefer to do something else.”

“Oh no, sir.” Sarah stood up and moved to sit on my lap. “I haven’t had enough of my weekly dose of you.”

Cake seemed to realize I was getting attention from the girls, and she didn’t like it. She hissed as threateningly as a tiny cat could, which wasn’t much, but even so, I wouldn’t have it.

“Cake!” I said, raising my voice. “No!”

The kitten flinched, lowering both her head and her ears. I tapped Sarah on the leg to ask her to move. She did so blinking at me, almost like she didn’t know me.

I stood and picked Cake up. “I’ll have none of that.”

I left the girls in my room while I took Cake down the stairs and to the laundry room. I left her on her bed, made sure she had enough water, and once she had forgotten what happened, I left and closed the door.

She’d played for a long while, and she still had her toys. It was fine to leave her alone for a bit, right? I would check up on her later.

I went back to my room, but before I went in, I overheard something.

“Makes you believe he’d be a good dad, right?” Mila said.

“A strict one, surprisingly,” Sarah said, laughing. “But yeah.”

That’s when I walked in. “I hope you’re not talking about me.”

“We were,” Grace clarified with a sweet smile. “Is there a problem?”

“Cats and humans are completely different,” I said.

“I’m sure there are some transferable skills,” Grace said.

“I’m not sure about that.” I sighed. “Not like it matters. I’m not planning on being a dad anytime soon.”

Sarah snickered. “That coming from the mouth of someone who’s been finishing inside for about two months.”

I flinched. “Y-You’re taking pills.”

“We could stop and not tell you,” Mila teased.

I nodded. “You’re right. I’ll start using condoms.”

“No!” shouted the three girls at the same time, all of whom blushed deeply after the fact.

“I-I mean… It’s not necessary, right?” Mila tried to laugh it off.

“Pills are a better contraceptive than condoms, anyway,” Grace said. “Proven to be more than 99% effective if used correctly, which we do. Condoms are only 98% effective.”

“Y-Yeah! Do you really want to risk that 2%, Oliver?” Mila asked.

“Does it have to be either or?” I asked.

“I got used to doing it raw,” Sarah said, strengthening her face despite the blush. “I’ll even get an IUD if you’re worried.”

I crossed my arms and grinned. “Only one person here is being honest.”

“An IUD wouldn’t be a bad idea, actually…” Grace said, choosing to ignore my teasing.

I sighed with a smile, taking a moment to take it all in. I was talking about the method of contraception we chose to use with my three girlfriends. At the very least, mom couldn’t tell me I wasn’t being responsible.

Story and Plot discussion here. Avoid if you want to read blind. I feel like I might be overusing intermissions, but I really want to make clear the mentality the girls have towards all that's happening and all the changes they're noticing. They're not like to talk about something like this with Oliver first, so I wanted to show Grace noticing the changes in herself. I chose Grace for this intermission because she's been the one noticing more that there's something weird about Oliver. Chapter 169 is just more interaction. I need to move the plot forward, yes, but there are so many scenes with there four that I want to write. I have still to write Oliver and Sarah playing tennis! That said, I might use that date for something else I've been planning. Look forward to it.

Totally happy if you keep going with just regular interactions. I know you want to advance the plot but it feels good we are taking time to really know everyone and have their relationship develop first. Keep it up!
