[Trivial?] I've been messing around with AI generated artwork. (Patreon)

Hello everyone. I hope the start of the weekend finds you well.

Have you guys ever heard of NovelAI? It's basically a tool for AI generated writing. You give it prompts and it tries to respond to help you create a story. I've played with it before, it's fun to mess around with (Though I feel the need to put a disclaimer here: I have not used any sort of AI generation tools to write my stories).

Well, aside from that, it came to my attention recently that they now have a tool for AI generated images. Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to try it out. It's... surprisingly good (when you're not getting three legged, four-armed monstrosities).

Pictured here is the best result I got when trying to get a more detailed picture of the image that's used as The Spirit of Lust's cover. I think it's neat and might change it. But that led to trying to get character designs, and well... now I have about 600 AI generated images trying to get good designs for the characters of both Spirit of Lust branches. Some are very hard to get something that's similar to what I pictured in my head, but others... are practically perfect.

There's a feature to upload an image and the AI will try to create something close to it. I used the same models that are in the characters page for the William branch (though some with different pictures of them, and a random prompt for William) and these are the best results I got:

I added the 'photorealistic' prompt to have something that was closer to the source images. I like them a lot, to the point I'm very tempted to add these as an alternative characters page. What do you guys think?

I also tried with the characters for the Oliver branch, since it still feel awkward to be using designs from other works. Those are more 'classic' anime-like. Would you guys be interested in seeing those too?
