[Spirit of Lust 2 - Poll] Do you think that Oliver not speaking in Spirit of Lust (2) is a problem to the story? (Patreon)

Hello everyone.

I debated a lot whether or not to make this poll. 

I've been receiving a bit of feedback from comments in chyoa saying how they dislike Oliver because he doesn't speak and he's just there. That things are just happening to him. So far it's only a few people, but it made me start questioning things. What do you people believe?

Is the fact that he's not talking a serious problem for the story? Does it make it annoying or frustrating to read?

The people saying this aren't exactly wrong, as the idea is to let him grow little by little, but if this is a bigger problem than I thought and readers are getting tired before his growth is noticeable, I might need to make changes. 

I'd apreciate some feedback. Thank you in advance.
