Leonardo opened the sketchbook, flipping throw pages until Reiko said “From there on”. He had stopped at a sketch of a naked couple kissing. Naturally, his eyes fell on the woman first, who had light, shoulder-length hair, a large bust, and whose face was…

The woman was Angela.

And the man was Leo!

“Haaaah!?”

“Shhh! Don’t scream!” Reiko shushed him.

“B-But…!” Leo kept flipping through the pages to find more and more sketches of him and Angela in different positions, having very explicit sex. Why had Reiko drawn this? He didn’t understand! They looked great, but that didn’t help him!

“W-When we were together for the first time,” Reiko explained, remaining as calm as possible. “Or rather, after we did it, I kept thinking of… how good you must’ve felt. And then I thought that you’d have to do that with Angela as well, and… maybe other women. I thought I’d be jealous, but as it so happens… the idea sort of... kind of... maybe... turns me on?” She was being serious about it. Leo took a deep breath to calm his clouded mind. She found the idea arousing? That was… uh… Was it a good or a bad thing? “I don’t know why I feel this way, okay? I kept wondering if something was wrong with me,” Reiko said, looking down at the floor. “So I just kept drawing every night, thinking I’d eventually just come to hate the idea. But the opposite happened.”

Just as she said that, Leo reached a point in the sketchbook where there were no longer two, but three people. Sometimes both Angela and Reiko would be clinging to him, sometimes Reiko would be to the side, watching, and sometimes that spot would be taken by Angela as she watched them going at it. Basically, Reiko moved on from drawing him and Angela to drawing threesomes.

“What do you think?” she asked quietly.

Leo swallowed and chose his words carefully. “I think that, like you said, you should keep thinking it through. This is big enough that we shouldn’t rush into a decision,” he answered, turning to her. “So this is why you weren’t mad when I told you Angela had shown me her chest?”

Reiko nodded slowly. “Made my heart race, actually.”

“Alright then,” Leo nodded to himself. “Go to my place tomorrow. Your parents are okay with us hanging out as much as we want now, and Mrs. Wisler will be leaving for Spain tomorrow morning.”

“Then you mean…”

Leo nodded again. “The book says we should maintain a satisfactory relationship for a month before I could even think of having anything with Angela. Let’s use that month to understand how our own relationship works, and if we’d be comfortable with anything else.”

Reiko smiled. “Sounds good!”

“Really?”

“If you’d have jumped at the chance and said something like ‘That’s great! Let’s have a threesome!’ right away, I would’ve been worried,” she giggled. “But if you’re being this careful, then I don’t feel so bad.”

“…It’s not like I don’t find the idea of a threesome exciting, you know?” he admitted sheepishly.

“Hey, it’s the same for me.” Reiko shrugged. “But you’re right. We should figure out how our relationship works before we even try new things. So… A month, then?”

“Not enough?”

“More than enough, I think. I’m gonna spend a lot of time at your house, you know?” she teased.

“I don’t see how that’s a bad thing,” Leo laughed.

They kissed again, this time for real. Leo tasted her lips and her tongue with wild abandon, and Reiko reciprocated with just as much passion. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down into her bed with her. She moaned softly, and he gave in to the desire to touch her more. He ran his hands along her bare thighs, eliciting a delightful shudder through Reiko’s body. Then suddenly, as they made out, Reiko started giggling.

“What?” he asked her, grinning.

“Do you know how many times I’ve fantasized about bringing a boy to my room?” she asked. “And now here you are.”

“Glad to be here,” he laughed before giving her a regretful smile. “Sucks that I have to leave in a few minutes.”

“Ah? Why?”

“I told you, Mrs. Wisler is leaving tomorrow. I need to make a nice dinner.”

“Oh. Right,” she said. “But you can stay ten more minutes, right?”

“Ten more minutes.” He nodded.

They laid on the bed next to each other, quietly basking in each other’s presence, smell and warmth. Leo had to admit that having her so close and making out with her made him want to take things further. Whether asking for a blowjob or offering to go down on her, Reiko probably would say yes to either. But knowing her parents were downstairs was a big deterrent and turn off.

He left with a polite goodbye to her family. He had to make a detour to the market to buy some things for dinner. He wanted to make something nice for Mrs. Wisler, since she seemed to enjoy his cooking as much as Angela and Reiko did. But the moment that thought crossed his mind, he froze as he realized something. The sudden idea ran circles in his mind as he did his shopping, and when he returned home, he made sure the first thing he did was find the old lady in her room. He knocked, and Mrs. Wisler let him in.

“What is it, dear? You look agitated,” she asked from her desk, where she seemed to be writing something on a notebook.

Leo took a deep breath to calm himself. Even if what he thought happened was true, he didn’t want to lash out at Mrs. Wisler. “Did… Did you tell Reiko the truth because you knew?”

“Knew what, dear?”

“Please don’t play dumb with me. It’s not fair that you can read our emotions while keeping us in the dark about your intentions.”

Mrs. Wisler gave him a small, regretful smile. “You’re right. I’m sorry. And yes, I told Reiko-chan the whole story because I knew she’d be more inclined to share you than other girls.” Leo groaned and he held and shook his head. “Should I have kept quiet? Has it hindered you in any way?”

He clicked his tongue. That was one hell of a fearsome Gift she had if she could tell even before the girl herself understood her own feelings. And it was obvious Mrs. Wisler was asking that questions because she knew that was not the case. Reiko’s… disposition was obviously helpful to the goal of removing the curse, and if she hadn’t been told the truth, their relationship wouldn’t be progressing as fast as it was. “You’re a bigger manipulator than I gave you credit for,” he told her.

“I won’t deny it. But I’ve never once lied to you. The things I do, I do for your sake and that of the clan. My father, his friends and I have worked towards the breaking of the curse for over a full century. This is a serious mater, Mr. Leonardo. It’s not just about simple interpersonal relationships, but the future of our clan. Now that you’ve recovered your sensations, would you really be okay with your children having to go through the same suffering as you?”

“Hitting where it hurts, huh?”

“The fact it hurts means you care, and that is enough to put me at ease.”

“Try to at least run it by me before you pull something like this again, please?”

“Very well,” she nodded. “But I suppose I don’t need to explain why I’m bringing Ms. Valerie Dexter here, do I?”

“…I guess not.” Mrs. Wisler wasn’t the harmless old woman she appeared to be, but that didn’t mean she was evil or anything. If he put himself in her shoes, he could understand her a bit more. It seemed she read that in his expression.

“I knew I’d chosen well,” she chuckled gently.

He sighed. “Dinner will be ready in an hour.”

“I can’t wait,” she answered with a harmless smile.

With that, Leo left the room. Her Gift was like a cheat for life. If he had that, then maybe dealing with people wouldn’t be so difficult.

At least it is not being rushed. To be honest, I am kinda curious how you would've resolved the issue of a harem if Reiko was firmly against it.

I can answer this, but I don't know if I should. It might take away some of the magic since it's about the process of writing more than about the story itself.
