Chapter 267: Fiances.

Emma squeals, jumps from her seat, drags you to your feet and embraces you tightly as she kisses you on the lips time and time again.

“Oh my God!” she cries. “I thought you might be planning something like this, but I didn’t want to get my hopes up!”

“W-Wait, what?” you ask. “W-What gave it away?”

“Nothing! I just had a feeling!” Emma laughs. “This happened long ago, so I doubt you remember, but only two weeks after we started going out, I told you I wanted to be with you forever. Not long after, I told you you had my heart, my body and my soul. Less than a month into our relationship, I knew I’d say yes to being your wife. And all these months later that feeling as only grown stronger. Such a big, unorthodox family is going to be a challenge, but I’ve never been more excited for anything in my life.”

“Took the words right out of my mouth,” you tell her. “I know we’re going to make this work.”

You share a deeper kiss with her, one lasting for at least a full minute.

“Okay dear, let him go,” Mia says, standing behind Emma, wiping the tears from her eyes and chuckling. “All of us would like at least a few second with our future husband as well.”

Your heart skips a beat at her words. They are now officially your future wives as well. It’s an overwhelming thought.

Emma gives you a last kiss and pushes you towards Mia with a big grin.

The usually patient and restrained Mia doesn’t hold back. She wraps her arms around your neck and pushes her tongue into your mouth in a passionate kiss.

“I didn’t feel like this the first time I got engaged,” she tells you. “I’ve known this was different from the start. Back then, I told you words were cheap, and promises could be broken. But everything we’ve gone through has shown me your words are backed my actions.” She smiles, her eyes getting teary again. “I love you, David. We’ll be happy together. All of us. I just know it.”

“I’ll make sure of it,” you assure her.

“WE’LL make sure of it, sweetie,” she corrects. “I’m not letting you shoulder everything yourself. We’ll be there to help, and I’ll personally never take my eyes off you.”

“Thank you.”

She pecks you again on the lips and moves away to give space to Megan. The petite, athletic girl walks up to you and does nothing else but hug you with all her strength, resting her head against your upper chest.

“You know how needy I am,” she says, giggling. “You sure you want to marry me? I’m not gonna stop my stupid jokes, either.”

“It’s why I want you,” you chuckle and kiss her forehead. “We’ll still tell you they’re boring, though.”

“Weird to think I could barely talk to you when we first met, isn’t it? Even weirder to think this all started because you fingered me in the school’s rooftop.”

“Hey, you said yes,” you shrug. “And besides, I’d say it started when you first went to my room, and our eyes met like in a badly written romance.”

“We’ll be getting married, so I’ll argue it’s an amazingly written romance!”

You share a laugh with her before you kiss her. When your lips part, she moves away and lets Emily walk up to you.

“Went all out, didn’t you?” she asks.

“Would you have said yes if I had half-assed it?” you ask.

“Of course, but I would’ve given you shit for it.” She grins and hugs you, taking a deep breath. “A year ago, I didn’t even think of having a relationship. Now we’re engaged. It’s so weird.”

“Isn’t it?” you chuckle. “But I like it.”

“So do I.”

The kiss is soft, gentle and loving. Then she grins at you. “We’re gonna fuck like animals after this, you know?”

“You mean later tonight or in general?” you grin teasingly.

“Both. I believe I told you this once, but you’re not getting rid of me. If you hadn’t proposed, I probably would’ve.”

“Good thing I hurried up, then,” you laugh.

Emily moves away as well, and next is Sophia who comes up to you, her face red as a tomato.

“God, we only got together because we wanted to fuck…” she sighs, then gives you a nostalgic smile. “How did we end up here?”

“We’ve done a lot of that, haven’t we?” you chuckle.

“And much, much more,” she says, hugging you and resting her head against your chest. “I thank the starts every night that I lost my notebook that day, and that you found it. You’re not only my lover, but my partner, you know? I don’t think I’ve ever clicked with anyone like I did with you.”

“This is just another chapter in our story. We’re far from done, aren’t we?”

“For sure” She grins. “And we’ll be writing in all genres, from comedies and mysteries to tons and tons of erotica. Let’s make sure to avoid tragedies, though.”

“Noted.”

She adds a little tongue to your kiss and moans into your mouth before forcing herself to step away to give her spot to Anzu.

“Do you ever wonder how things would be if we had just followed our parents’ wishes back then?” she asks you, hugging you by the waist.

“I try not to,” you admit. “I don’t think we’d be as close as we are now. In fact, we might even resent one another.”

“I think so too,” she nods and kisses you deeply. “But now we’re gonna get married on our own terms, and for no one’s sake but our own.”

“That’s exactly what I wanted to hear,” you tell her with a grin. “We’ll show them we can be happy without them meddling in our business.”

“We’ll follow our own dreams, set and reach our own goals. We’ll make it so that they have no choice but to accept the path we took, and we’re going to walk that path together.”

“Hand in hand,” you nod.

She goes in for a second, quicker kiss before giving Katherine space. The redhead approaches slowly, her face red and eyes looking down at your feet. You step up to her, wrap your arms around her waist and lift her up.

“Ah!” she yelps, looking at you with wide eyes.

“If you tell me you’re regretting your answer, I’m seriously gonna cry,” you tell, grinning.

“Of course I don’t regret it!” she assures you vigorously. “I… was just thinking of the right words. Do you have any idea how much you mean to me? How much you’ve done for me? If it wasn’t for you, I’d probably still be spending my days alone, pushing everyone else away.”

“You’re a smart girl. You would’ve gotten out of it. Hell, I don’t think I did much at all.”

“You know nothing, then.” She grins. “You did a lot, and now that we’re engaged, I know I have the rest of our lives to repay you.”

You chuckle and shake your head. “You’re exaggerating.”

“Shut up. I do what I want.” She holds your cheeks and kisses you deeply to prove her point. You set her on the ground, and she steps away.

Julia is the next one to approach.

“You have some nerve, proposing to a woman you've dated for not even half a year,” she says, a smug grin on her face. “But that’s just one of the reasons I like you so much. There hasn’t been a boring day with you, and I have many reasons to believe things will only get more interesting from here on.”

“That’s a lot of pressure on my shoulders.” You sigh.

“You can deal with it. And besides, marriage is about sharing those burdens, right? I’ll do my part to keep things interesting for you as well.”

She hugs you and sighs contently next to your ear. Her embrace is gentle and comforting.

“Seriously, though, I’m not putting all the responsibility on you. We’ll all do our part to make this strange relationship work.”

“I’ll be counting on you, then.”

You can taste the red wine in her lips. She did have a couple of glasses more than even Mia.

When Lilian approaches you, she does so looking at her engagement ring on her finger.

“Silver, and by the size of the diamonds, it was relatively inexpensive. I bet I have more expensive rings in my jewelry box,” she says. You’re about to apologize when she looks at you with a small smile and teary eyes. “So explain to me why looking at it makes me feel like I have butterflies in my stomach.”

You wrap your arms around her shoulders and hug her tightly. “I’ll buy you something nicer eventually. I promise.”

“I don’t need it,” she says, her voice cracking. “David, I’m sure of my answer despite us barely dating for a couple of months! Doesn’t that tell you anything? Fuck jewelry! Just let me stay with you!”

You nod and kiss her before whispering to her. “I’m not letting you go anywhere.”

She lets out a deep, relaxed sigh before ceding her spot to Jessica, who approaches you slowly while looking into your eyes.

“We had a talk the other day, remember? About how I was worried about what I could offer you?” she asks.

You grab her hands interlace your finger with hers. “I remember.”

“This only makes me more worried,” she admits. “I know I want to be with you, but now it’s not about what I can offer you as your girlfriend, but what I can offer you as your wife.”

“And I told you that just being yourself is more than enough for me. I’m not a king or a god that needs tribute. I just want to spend the rest of my days with you by my side, so we can talk, cry, laugh and do naughty things together.”

She giggles. “I can do that.”

“Good,” you cup her cheek as you kiss her, and she seems to melt in your embrace.

When your lips part, Jessica turns back to look at Olivia, who’s fidgeting in place, either awkwardly waiting for her turn or hesitant to walk up to you. The Brazilian girl leaves your embrace and goes to push Olivia towards you.

You catch her in your arms, and Olivia’s eyes stayed locked on yours.

“I… can’t put into words how much want this, how much I want to be your wife and spend the rest of my life with you. But… I don’t think I deserve it.”

You put a hand to her finger and silence her immediately, frowning at her.

“Olivia, what could I have possibly done in this or any previous life that would make me deserving of eleven women who’d say yes to such a crazy fucking proposal? I don’t know, but right now, I don’t care. All I care about is that I want you with me, for the rest of our lives, and despite all that happened between us. Do you want me in your life as well?”

“Of course!” she answers adamantly. “More than anything else!”

“Then that’s all there is to it. You’ll be my wife, and I’ll be your husband.”

Her lip quivers, and she stops it by pressing them against yours and rolling her tongue around yours. She breaks the kiss, gasping, and grins at you. “I’m gonna be your best fucking wife.”

“You’ll have tough competition,” you chuckle.

“I know. That’s how great a wife I’ll be. Work, money, sex, house chores, children, you name it. I’ll be everywhere you need me to be.”

“L-Let’s save the talk of children for another occasion, shall we?”

“If you want,” Olivia shrugs. “Just tell me when you’re ready and I’ll stop taking my pills.”

“Full soccer team, here we GO!” Megan yells, throwing her hands in the air and making everyone laugh.

They talk amongst themselves, sharing in the excitement and putting on their rings and necklaces. Your heart almost can’t take the sight of them all wearing the jewelry. They have their rings on and the necklaces fit Emma, Mia and Julia’s images perfectly. You have to force yourself to look away to take out your phone and open the Affection Multiplier App. A quick check confirms all the girls’ scores are at 100. Yes, even their lust scores. Then you look at your points.

Available points: 690 Friendship points / 650 Love points / 690 Lust points

You go to the traits and read the one you’re buying once more.

Normalized Polygamy (600 Friendship Points / 600 Love Points / 600 Lust Points): The holder of this trait can bypass the law of a single marriage partner. They can marry as many people as they want and the unions will be legally recognized and even thought of as a normal exception to the rule. A reward for those who managed to create bonds that will not break!

With enough points for it, you don’t hesitate. You tap your phone and buy it, watching your hard-earned points be reduced to 90, 50 and 90 respectively.

“You did what I think you did?” Emma asks you.

“Yep. Anyone feel any different?” you ask them.

“I don’t think so?” Sophia says. “Though we might not be the best to ask. We’ve had the idea of a polygamous marriage in our heads for a while.”

“We can leave those details for later,” Olivia shrugs. “What matter is what comes now.”

Didn't write the title of the chapter in the post just to prevent spoilers for those who aren't caught up. Also, I wrote this chapter a while ago and was very worried and focused on getting the girls' emotions through as clearly as I could. Now, re-reading it, I smiled and even got a little teary eyed. That rarely ever happens. So yeah, I liked this one. Hope you guys did, too.

Got to ask did you purposely choose 11 the exact number for a soccer or is it a happy and funny accident?

written_fantasy

A little bit of both. When I realized I had 11 girls, I went "Wait. That's enough for a soccer team. There's no way Megan wouldn't comment on that." And then that became something she likes to joke about/is looking forward to.
