The next day, you meet up with Jessica at the fountain in the middle of the plaza downtown, which is slowly becoming the go-to meeting spot. Like you agreed to the other day, you’ll be helping her shop for a good microphone for her computer while making a date out of it. It’s always nice to spend time with all your girls, but getting to be alone with one of them is getting to be such a rare chance that you like to enjoy it as much as you can.

You swallow when you see her. She’s wearing jean shorts and a wine colored shirt with the first button undone, showing the slightest bit of cleavage, and tied at the front, exposing her midriff as she seems to like it. Seriously, this girl exudes sex-appeal without even trying.

To make matters worse, she walks up to you with a big smile on her face, hugs you tightly and gives you a passionately wet greeting kiss. She slips her tongue between your lips, and her naturally seductive body pressed against yours is making keeping the boner under control a real challenge. Still, you kiss her back for a while before pulling away with a resigned smile.

“Have some mercy for goodness sake,” you tell her.

“What?” she asks, giggling.

“Don’t play innocent with me. You know exactly what you’re doing.”

“I get to have to you myself today. I’m excited and I want to show it.”

You lean forward and plant a soft kiss on her forehead. “I was just thinking how I’m looking forward to this, too.”

“Really? I thought you loved being surrounded by women?” she teases.

“I do,” you nod shamelessly. “But why would I ever say no to some quality one-on-one time with a woman I love?”

Jessica bites her lip and holds onto you even tighter. “Remember why we’re here. You’re making me want to drag you back to your room.”

“Your fault for greeting me like that.” You shrug, letting your hands directly touch Jessica’s exposed sides. “But we can go back there when we’re done if you want.”

“No way I’m missing this chance,” she giggles.

You hold Jessica’s hand and walk with her to the city center. And as you do, you look around. You know it’s something you just need to accept, but it’s still a bit of a bother how a lot of guys eye Jessica. And it doesn’t just happen with her. All your girls naturally draw people’s eyes to themselves, even when you’re alone with them. Getting jealous is the stupidest thing you could do, but no matter how hard you try, you can’t get rid of that possessive feeling deep in your chest.

Could it be that’s why you’re in such a rush to tie the knot? To have the girls wear a ring that says they belong to you? No, the reason is that you know you want to spend the rest of your life with them. That much you’re sure of. But… that first though is not without merit.

You browse with Jessica the different electronic and other related shops, but now you’re feeling distracted. Just a few blocks from where you are now is the jewelry shop you ordered the rings and necklaces. They should be ready tomorrow, so you’ll need to make another excuse to come pick them up without the girls suspecting a thing.

Most of the other preparations are complete, too. You’ve been practicing your cooking a lot, especially with the more difficult dishes. Getting the salmon and the risotto just right has been the biggest challenge, but you think you have it.

There’s been no issues with the reservation for the trip, the girls (hopefully) don’t suspect a thing, the cooking is going well aaaaaand you’re getting distracted from your date.

Jessica catches you staring absentmindedly into the front showcase of one of the electronic stores you visit and eyes you carefully.

“David?” she calls you, a deep, worried frown on her. “…am I boring you?”

Four words said in such a frightened tone that she might as well have taken your heart and twisted it herself. Goddammit, why are you getting distracted when you’re on a date with Jessica? She deserves your attention! Getting distracted by the details of your proposal to her is not an excuse! What’s the point of proposing if you’re gonna end up ignoring her?

In a panic, you glance into the glass showcase in front of you, looking for something you can use as an excuse to throw her off the plan and make her feel better at the same time. Your eyes land on an electric guitar. A cheap, low quality, entry-level electric guitar.

“Of course you’re not! I just got a little distracted,” you laugh nervously. “I saw that guitar and remembered that I kind of wanted to learn to play at some point.”

She raises an eyebrow at that.

“Seriously?”

“Yeah. I wanted to learn to play some of the songs from games and shows I like,” you insist, and take solace in the fact you’re not technically lying. There really was a point where you wanted to learn guitar, but never got around to it because it meant putting effort into something you weren’t sure you’d like.

Jessica stares blankly at you for a good moment, making you worry she’s suspecting something.

“I know how to play guitar,” she says, nodding once.

“Uh?”

“I even have one at home. An acoustic one, that is. I could teach you.” Her lips slowly start curling into an excited smile. “I only know the basics chords and some simple plucking, but I think I could teach you if you want.”

You suppress a wry smile. It was only meant to be an excuse, but Jessica seems to like the idea. Somehow, you feel like saying no would be bad. And in the end, it would be more time to spend with her, right? That’s never and will never be a bad thing.

Reassured, you nod. “You know what? Let’s do it. I warn you, though, I really know nothing of playing guitar, so you’ll have to teach me from zero.”

“Okay! I’ll brush up on my own skills as well,” she says, looking giddy. She hugs your arm and kisses your cheek, nuzzling at your side.

You didn’t think saying yes to that would make her this happy, but you’re glad you did. Now you can’t half-ass it, though. You’ll have to put a serious effort into learning the guitar.

“Let’s finish our shopping for now. Would you like to stop by some place to eat after?” you ask.

“Can we just go back to your place? I like it better there.”

“There’s a joke about that and eating there that’s too obvious for me to go for,” you sigh. “So yeah, we can go back after we buy your microphone.”

________________________________________________________________

The first thing you do when you and Jessica go back to your place is turn on your laptop and connect the new microphone to it to test it out. Jessica watches behind you as you mess with some setting and speak into it, making sure that it works and that the quality is as you expected.

“It sounds good,” Jessica confirms with a sigh of relief. “Way better than my laptop.”

“You only need to plug it in. It should work just fine. But if you find trouble, bring your laptop and I’ll see what’s wrong.”

“Thanks, David! You’re a life saver!” She wraps her arms around you, hugging you from behind as you’re sitting on the chair.

“It’s nothing,” you tell her and kiss the back of her hand.

“No, I mean it. You’ve helped me out so many times now,” she says, and suddenly her tone feels more… regretful.

“Jessica?” you turn to look at her, and see a complicated expression on her face. She’s frowning, but has a sincere smile.

She turns around and sits at the edge of the bed. She pats the spot beside her and you sit down with her.

“What’s wrong?” you ask, worried at the abruptness of her mood swing.

“Can I ask something stupid?” she asks, smiling shyly.

“I’d say there are no stupid questions, but I’ve been guilty of those myself, so go ahead.”

“Why do you like me?”

“…Eh?” The exclamation escapes your lips. The gears in your head turn as fast as they can. Is this one of those questions that seem simple but have like 20 different meanings behind them? Or should you just take it at face value? Jessica seems genuinely concerned, at the very least. You can’t just brush her off.

“The easy answer is because you’re you,” you tell her, “but that’s not enough, is it?” She nods her head. “Can I at least know why you’re asking? Did I do something?”

She shakes her head this time, eagerly enough that her hair becomes a bit of a mess. “The opposite! You do so much for me, and I feel like I don’t do enough for you.”

“…What?”

“You forgave us after everything we did; you helped us study; you’ve helped us make more friends; you’ve helped us get our lives in order. But what have I done for you?” Her lip quivers. “I asked the others about this, but they said I was overthinking it. I don’t think I am.”

You massage the nape of your neck. She’s been worried about this all this time? She didn’t show it, but you guess that’s what makes her a good actress.

“It might sound heartless, but I agree with the others. You’re overthinking it,” you say, moving your hand to her hair to fix it, combing it with your fingers.

“W-What?”

When you’re done, you wrap an arm around her shoulder, pull her close to you and kiss her forehead.

“You don’t need to do anything for me, because just being yourself helps me out immensely.”

“H-How?”

“You may not have realized it, but it’s because of you that the others have been accepting of Lilian, Olivia and, well, you. You were there to make sure everyone got along. Maybe you didn’t do it consciously, but every time you came to ask me for help with your studies, every time you spoke to us in the hallways when the other two would’ve walked past, you brought us all a little closer together.”

She purses her lips and hides her face in your chest. You continue.

“Besides, I think just being with you and talking to you makes me a better person every day. Everything we’ve gone through has helped me grow. It’s not just you.” You chuckle. “Stop me if I’m getting too sappy.”

“You’ve always been a sap,” she answers, giggling into your chest.

“Has this been worrying you for long? Do you think I don’t like you?”

Again, she shakes her head. “I know you like me. You show it a lot. But… when I see the other girls, I don’t know what I can offer you that they can’t.”

“You don’t need to offer me anything. If you like me as much as I like you, then that’s more than enough. I want you with me because being with you is fun. Because watching movies and shows with you is fun. Because learning Spanish with you is fun. Because just having you here with me, worrying because of how much you care about me, fills me more than you’ll ever know.”

“…I still want to do something for you,” she sighs.

“You’ll feel like that no matter what I say, won’t you?”

She nods against your chest. “…It’s why I got excited when you said you wanted to learn guitar. I thought we could finally have something to share. But I think I kind of forced it on you.”

“Just to be clear on that, I’m not against it. I do think sharing a hobby would be good for us. I just don’t want you to think that because you don’t like what I like or vice versa, it means we can’t have a meaningful relationship.”

“R-Really?”

“Think of it like this,” you say. “My mother absolutely loves interior decoration to the point she changes the arrangement of the furniture every month. My dad hates it but lets her be because she doesn’t mess with his office, which is where he spends most of his time.”

That makes Jessica burst into laughter. “Are you serious?”

“Yep. And they’ve been married for… was it 23 or 22 years? I can’t remember.”

She laughs, and your heart calms down when seeing the smile on her face. She snuggles against you and looks into your eyes. “Sorry. This came out of nowhere, didn’t it?” she says.

“It did. But it’s better it came out at all rather than let you keep it in.”

“Yeah. I feel a little better.” Jessica lets out a soft, long breath. Her shoulders relax and she puts her hand over yours. “But I’m not giving up on this. I want to make our relationship stronger.”

“We’ll do that slowly,” you tell her, kissing the top of her head. “Don’t forget we’ve only been dating for a month. We have plenty of time to figure each other out.”

“Has it really been a month?” she says, eyes widening. “It’s weird. It feels like less and a lot longer at the same time.”

“Like we’ve known each other forever yet time hasn’t moved at all, right?” You chuckle.

“Exactly!”

“Yeah, it’s weird.” You nod. “I like it, though.”

“Me too.”

The two of you stay there for a good moment, sharing a comfortable silence. You gently squeeze Jessica’s hand and she turns to face you. She leans forward, pressing her lips against yours. You share a number of sweet, innocent kisses. But each of them lights in you, little by little, a fire of desire.

“You know,” Jessica swallows, then gives you a shy smile, “I said all that stuff, but… I was assuming that we both already share at least ONE pastime.”

“I guess you could call it a pastime,” you chuckle. Your hands move to unbutton Jessica’s shirt just as hers start unbuckling your belt, both of you with unhurried movements.

“…Do you think I’m sexy?” she asks, half-seductively, half-asking for reassurance.

“Incredibly so. I get jealous when other men look at you, and take pleasure in knowing I’m the only one that can have you,” you tell her, openly admitting it. Your hands cup her breasts, making her take in a deep, quivering breath to swallow a moan.

She grins and bites her lip. “And you know what? I think I like that. I know men look at me. It used to bother me. But now?” She licks her lips. Her hands teasingly rub the growing bulge at your crotch. “I know my heart and my body belong to you. Let them look all they want. Your name is the only one I’ll ever scream.”

With her other hand on her back, she unhooks her bra and gets it off. Her big, firm breasts hang proudly before you. You wrap an arm around Jessica’s waist, greedily grasp one of her tits and lock your lips with hers at the same time. She moans into you, opening her mouth to let you savor her fully. Your thumb rubs her dark, hard nipple and she shudders in your arms. You feel her body relax, submitting to your touch. Silent permission to do as you please.

Your push her down on the bed, kissing down her neck, her cleavage. You allow yourself to suck on her tits for a long moment, your tongue flicking around her nipples and making her squirm in pleasure.

“David…!” she moans.

Meanwhile, your hands work to remove her shorts and she takes of her shoes and socks using her own feet. Jessica lays naked below you, eyeing you with burning desire. You lose your own clothes in seconds, earning you a giggle from your lover. You smile at her and hover above her.

A hand between her legs reveals her eagerness. Light foreplay and the promise of more were enough to get her ready.

“Can you fuck me, please?” she asks with a playfully innocent tone. One of her hands slowly rubs her clit while the other pinches her nipple. “I promise I’ll do everything you want. But please, I want you to stir me up now.”

“Turn around,” you demand.

Jessica lays prone on the bed, her ass slightly raised for you. You lay on top of her, your chest almost pressing against her back. You line up your cock with her pussy, the heat coming from it drawing you in.

She gasps as your cock fills her, her pussy tightening greedily around you. You guide two fingers to her mouth, and Jessica immediately starts sucking on them. She moans loudly as she does, your rocking hips driving her crazy with pleasure. You take your time, savoring every sensation. Her drenched pussy pleasuring your cock, her tongue on your fingers, her sweet, muffled moans, the smell of your lovemaking.

“David!” she gasps. “Amor, I’m coming! Inside me! Please, shoot it inside me!”

The feeling is so great you want to keep enjoying it, but knowing this is far from ending, you let yourself go and shoot a thick load inside Jessica’s quivering pussy. She bites the bed sheet and holds onto them as her orgasm assaults her violently.

You pull out, moving her long, dark hair out of the way and planting kisses along the nape of her neck and her shoulder. After a moment, she looks back at you with dazed, worshiping eyes and a tired smile.

“Again?” you offer.

“A hundred times more, please.”

This chapter feels a little out of place to me, but I had to write it because Jessica wasn't getting enough love. I still like this chapter, but the issues I've had writing some of these scenes have made me consious of some serious weaknesses in my writing. I will try to improve on those.
