Chapter 420: Without suspicion.

I told Diana everything without a lick of suspicion. She had offered to make me a cocktail I’d like, so we went into her living room with Red following us. There, as she was looking for bottles of liquor in her cupboard, I asked her,

“So… Remember when you said you knew someone who claimed to know magic? That person was Mr. Allen, right?”

Diana looked at me with wide eyes, a hanging jaw and a bottle of creme de menthe on hand.

“So that’s what took you two so long? He told you, too?”

I nodded. “He figured out I have powers, too. He wants something from me.”

I recounted the whole conversation, paying attention to Diana’s reaction. She looked genuinely surprised, further proving to me that she had nothing to do with it. As I went on, her expression began to shift to understanding.

“I… see. Hmm. Some things make more sense, then,” she said.

“What things?” I asked her.

“The hotel, for example. It is a big, fancy place… but not a big enough business for him to personally oversee, at least comparatively speaking. It always looked to me like a personal project for himself and his girlfriends. Maybe he was looking to build a place to spend time with them. Or maybe he was building a love hotel to…” she swallowed, “attract someone like… you.”

She grimaced and looked down at the floor. I chuckled.

“Still don’t believe it? That we have magical abilities?”

Diana shook her head with a heavy, tired sigh. “I do. I just don’t WANT to believe it. It’s… too weird. It complicates everything.”

I nodded. “It does. I can’t blame you for thinking that. I thought the same until not long ago.” I sighed. “But you never would’ve looked my way if not for it. Same goes for the others. The fact that I can be with you all at the same time is also thanks to those powers, so… I can’t bring myself to hate them.”

“...” Diana remained quiet, but she had a thoughtful look on her face. She carried the liquor bottles to the kitchen and got back to work on the cocktail. I watched her as I scratched under Red’s neck.

She took out a small hourglass-shaped device from one of the drawers. It was made of stainless steel, longer on one side than the other. She filled it to the brim twice with the green creme de menthe to perfectly measure and poured it into the shaker that already had ice in it. She did the same with the transparent creme de cocoa and then some heavy cream. Diana closed the shaker and, well, shook it with smooth, clearly practiced movements. I don’t think the whole process took her longer than 30 seconds. She strained the now creamy, mint-green liquid into two cocktail glasses and grated nutmeg over them.

“A grasshopper,” she said, offering me a glass. “If you don’t like it, don’t force yourself.”

I tried it with an open mind and fucking loved it. Sweet, minty and chocolatey at the same time but with a hint of that liquor kick that warned me to drink it slowly.

“This… is dangerous,” I said, laughing. “I haven’t even started on this one and I think I might want another.”

“Not until you can hold your liquor better,” she told me, bopping my nose. “I’m not sending you home drunk.”

We went to the living room with drinks in hand, clicked our glasses in a silent toast and we both took another sip. Diana moved closer to me and leaned her head on my shoulder. Red barked jealously at us.

“You’ll have to get used to it,” Diana told her dog who growled and walked away, indignant.

For a while, there was silence between us. Not an uncomfortable, awkward silence, though. Diana was thinking about something, carefully pondering her words. I was waiting patiently.

“I can’t claim that I’d still would’ve looked your way if you didn’t have… whatever it is you have. I wish I could, but I don’t know,” Diana said softly. “So if I look at it that way, then I suppose I’m thankful the magic drew my attention to you.”

I chuckled. “I appreciate the honesty.”

“I won’t pretend not to believe anymore, and I suppose I’ll need to have a chat with Mr. Allen about it, too.”

“He said he cast a protective spell on you. Have you ever felt something weird?”

Diana chortled. “You make me feel weirder than he ever has. I’m still not sure how to feel about the butterflies in my stomach.”

We smiled at each other and shared another tender, innocent kiss. Her lips felt chilly from the grasshopper.

“Still…” she continued. “I’ve worked with Mr. Allen for a while now, and… No, maybe I should stay quiet. I’m his employee. I shouldn’t be meddling in whatever business you have with him.”

I shook my head. “I want to hear it.”

She nodded. “He’s always kept his word, always treated me and other employees fairly, perhaps more than fairly. It does make you think like he has some ulterior motive, but he really just wants to share his good fortune with others. They call him a playboy philanthropist, and I don’t think that’s a wrong description.”

A man possessed by a Spirit of Greed… sharing his fortune? It was a contradiction, plain and simple. But I didn’t think it was wrong. Maybe his case was similar to mine?

“I desire your abilities and your cooperation more than anything right now, but I refuse to take it by force,” was something he said to me.

I thought about my own position. If there was a woman I wanted but she didn’t want me back… would I take her by force? No, I wouldn’t. I would never. My very being rejects the mere idea.

Frey said spirits took advantage of a moment’s weakness to possess people. In that case, it was possible that Mr. Allen wasn’t generally greedy, but found himself in a situation where he wished he could have… something, everything, and a spirit used that to possess him. A kind, generous man with powers fueled by hoarding riches sounded pretty stupid.

About as stupid as an awkward, socially anxious man with powers fueled by having sex.

Chapter 421: Truth and sex.

Diana’s dog came back at one point and began to sniff my pockets, looking for treats. Sadly, I didn’t have any to give him this time. Diana, though, did give him one as a small apology from taking him to the backyard and leaving there.

“Jealous that your dog is paying attention to me?” I asked teasingly.

“I’m glad he likes you, but we’re talking about something important,” she said, going back to her seat beside me, so close that our legs and shoulders were touching. She swallowed hard. “So… What exactly is it you can do with your… magic powers?”

I almost didn’t want to tell her. A small, selfish desire to let her believe that my… proficiency in bed came from my merits alone. But that wasn’t fair, and the other girls already knew, so there was literally no point. Not that I would’ve kept it to myself even if there was a point.

I kinda wished I still had grasshopper left, but I finished it already. It was too tasty. Still, it helped a bit. Diana still had some left and she was taking her time.

“Like I said, it’s sexual in nature,” I admitted. “A lot of it, most of it, happens without me willing it. I draw eyes, for example. Mr. Allen even called me unnaturally attractive.”

Diana’s eyes twitched. “Mr. Allen is into you?”

I chuckled. “No, that’s not what he meant. He just noticed that there was something odd about me. It’s part of what gave me away.”

Diana nodded. “I suppose I understand what he means.”

“Then there’s… you know. Something makes me naturally good in bed. I can make women feel heightened pleasure, I have near unlimited stamina, no refractory period, and instead of getting tired, having sex makes me feel more energized. Ever since this all started, I’ve felt healthier, stronger, lighter. Actually, the girls say they feel similar things after we do it.”

Diana blinked and her jaw half-fell. “Oh, so I wasn't imagining it? After Sunday, some back pains went away, I haven’t come home as tired after work and I’ve been sleeping better than, well, ever. Was it because of you?”

“I’m hesitant to take credit for it, but five girls have claimed the same, so…”

I told her everything, or at least everything I understood. I told her about Frey, about the mental connection, about the spell that normalizes my relationship with all of them, about the runes and the things we’d like to do with them.

After a short silence, Diana chuckled softly and shook her head. “I thought the most difficult part of seeing you would be our age gap and the other girls. Now it’s even more complex.”

“I’m sorry…”

“I’m not complaining. You’re not the only one who has a good feeling about this.” Diana downed the last bit of her drink and set her glass down on the coffee table. She then turned to me and threw one of her legs over my lap, straddling me and putting her hands on my shoulders. “And it’s all a matter of perspective, isn’t it? Your abilities could make everything more complicated, or it could make everything more exciting.” She smirked and leaned in closer, so much so I felt her breath against my face. “If given the choice, I know which one I’d pick.”

She moved her hands from my shoulders to my face and kissed me. She kissed me deeply, tongue first and going deep. I tasted the lingering sweet minty flavor of the grasshopper on her lips and the cold sensation of her tongue on mine was like lightning.

I held Diana’s waist and kissed her back with all I had. She pushed me with the whole weight of her taller body, pressing me between the couch’s backrest and the softness of her bosom while she planted kisses all over my face.

Soon she began to rock her carefully positioned hips. Her crotch was perfectly pressing against mine, and she moved back and forth, my erection began to grow and rub against her, drawing out a scorching heat from the both of us.

She was being so assertive, taking the lead and not giving it up. She moaned into my mouth, soft and barely audible whimpers that only turned me on more. Her full weight on top of me and the way she pressed her body against mine kept me pinned and it felt surprisingly good.

Diana pulled away, a thin line of drool connecting our mouths for a brief moment before it broke. She stared into my eyes with a smirk as we both gasped for air.

“They told me I didn’t need to hold back,” she said. “That I shouldn’t be afraid to initiate. I still get shivers when I remember that Sunday. Oliver… I want you to fuck me again.”

“Here?” I asked her.

“Anywhere.”

I grinned. “Then here.”

Diana’s eyes lit up and she immediately rose to her feet. She was wearing pants, while I kicked mine off, she took off hers.

Just the other day, I told the guys to fall in love with foreplay, to think of a woman’s pleasure as a glass filling drop by drop. That, usually, it was a slow process. Usually.

Diana wasn’t just wet, she was dripping, her juices running down her thighs. Then again, the way she was kissing me before spoke up pent up desire.

She climbed on top of me again, my dick burning up at the contact with her soaked labia. Diana shuddered and took a deep, calming breath. She smiled at me and went in for another kiss, just as deep as the one before but this time more tender, savoring every lick thoroughly.

“I want to feel that pleasure again,” she whispered, “and I want to give you the best I can in return. Taste me, Oliver. Eat me up. Make me see that flash of white again and again.”

I smirked at her. “I don’t have a condom.”

She smirked back. “And I got lucky and had my gynecologist appointment yesterday. I have an IUD now.”

Not that it mattered now that I knew Frey’s powers were perfect contraception, but I wasn’t going to ruin the mood with more info dumping now.

Diana raised her hips and I lined up my cock with her slit. Her pussy was still ridiculously tight, making my entrance difficult despite ample lubrication. I leaned in and bit her nipple over her shirt and her bra, then licking and sucking hard on it. It helped. My shaft slowly slid in as she sank on my lap, moaning and trembling.

“Yes… Mmm, I like that…!”

“What? When I bite your nipples?”

“Hm-hm,” she nodded, then sucked in a deep breath when my entire length was inside her. “Yess… Ooooh, this is it…” She bit her lip with an ecstatic smile. “This is how it’s meant to be.”

Yeah. Feeling her raw pussy squeezing me, threatening to melt my dick with its scorching heat… This felt right.

She looked at me with cute, pleading eyes, lovingly cupped my cheek and asked, “And you? What do you like? What more can I do?”

I moved a hand from her waist to her face, gently brushing her lips with my thumb. Diana understood and began to suck on it like she was giving it fellatio, all the while rocking her hips.

We didn’t say more. We let the sound of our lovemaking fill the room. Our moans, the smacking of our hips, the wetness of our kisses, the creaking and squeaking of the poor sofa supporting us…

We came together. Diana’s thighs clamped around me just as her pussy did. She gripped my arms and trembled, kissing me even harder while I filled her for the very first time.

We basked in the afterglow, sharing light kisses, rubbing our noses together and smiling like lovesick fools. And I’m sure it was the high of dopamine that made me ask this so early in our relationship, but…

“Diana… I want to do it with you and the others,” I told her, looking into her eyes. “It doesn’t have to be now or anytime soon, but…”

She pecked my lips, kissed my jaw and nose, before answering, “Okay.”

I was a little tempted to make some sort of 420 reference this chapter as a joke, but I couldn't come up with anything clever, so it wasn't worth it to force it. Nothing would've made sense. Also: Titles! 421 chapters in this story alone and having to come up with titles for all of them is really hard. Sometimes I can think of something good, sometimes I'm even proud of a title, but then there are times like these where I couldn't come up with anything... good. It's also why I use (Part X) in chapters, but only when those chapters are really about the same thing.

Good chapters, can't wait for the next couple.
