So this is the prototype grooming menu image I worked on as a break from... working on the grooming system. A smart mirror is part of the game, so I went with a more modern-looking bathroom. My idea is to keep the menu images visually distinct from each other, to make it easier to distinguish what menu you're in at a glance. We'll see how it works, and what you guys think.

The grooming system is coming along nicely. There are now 38 different hairstyles in the game, with differing DCs to learn. You won't be able to learn most of them from the bargain salon Best Head though, you'll need to go to a nicer salon. I never imagined I'd be ranking women's hairstyles based on difficulty to do... It feels like my life has taken a strange turn, lol.

There are 16 piercing/jewelry slots (wear button on the menu) Jewelry is a fairly static thing, it goes on and off automatically, you just set what you want to wear for 3 situations (work, casual, fancy). Makeup will be a challenge, just because I know next to nothing about it, so I have to learn and make sure what I'm doing actually makes some sort of sense. You'll pick a makeup style for your eyes, mouth, and face, with 3 sets similar to jewelry. Unlike jewelry, there is a skill check required for each part unless your skill is high enough. (With potential to end up with clown makeup if you aim too high too fast.)

That's all for now, back to the code mines!

Hey, I just played your game and I must say it looks really promising. It just needs some actual game content! Can't wait for your future updates!

Thanks for the updates! I know it's a lot of work learning an unexpected skill set but I really think it's going to Mae the game awesome. Really looking forward to make up, I think the skill checks are a great idea.

Looks pretty slick! Quick suggestion: On the “Shop for [Clothing]” menus at Bullseye, it would be nice if there was a “Return” button at both the top and bottom of the window. As it stands, needing to scroll all the way to the bottom to exit each different clothing type (bras, stockings, etc) quickly gets cumbersome. Keep up the great work!

At the risk of being really picky, I think your 24-hr rolling news thing isn't quite level.<br>Also I would not want 24-hr rolling news in my bathroom mirror.

Not sure how I overlooked that! It's a good idea, and I'll add it in asap.

Even if it was Ron Burgundy? It's not 24 hour news, just TV. (and with the TV turned off, nobody could see it was there ;) I think I see what you mean about the tv being not-quite level. I couldn't see the top of the mirror to get the perspective just right. I'll give it another try
