0.59 Patreon Builds Now Available! (Patreon)

Hope you've already returned all your video tapes, because a brand new Sileo update is now available! 

This bad boy represents our transition into development on the Polyamorous Route and offers a little taste of things to come! For the first time, Sileo has meaningful choices which can result in entirely different events playing out - go with Russell to his apartment, or go home? Settle in and smoke with him, or don't? Give in to your urges? Or, perhaps, there's something more pressing that needs attention... like that stack of overdue video tapes! Best get on that, I've heard their late fees are downright criminal! 

In total, day 5 of the Polyamorous Route can conclude in one of three different sequences depending on the choices you make. Some choices might lead to the same outcome, but don't be fooled! Specific details in the events that brought you there may become important later on! We've also taken the liberty of sprucing up the existing content both in the Poly Route as well as in the Intro Remake in anticipation of additional days being added at some point in the future. 

Also in this update is a total of 6 (read that: six!) new backgrounds, all replacing existing stock images used at various points throughout Diego and Tai's stories. Additionally, we've made a few other fixes and improvements, such as renaming the Axel/Dom/Russell route to the Polyamorous Route, Poly for short! Juggling three names was getting tiresome! Finally, we've also updated Sileo to the latest Ren'Py version (8.2) bringing with it a range of improvements with the most noticeable being on the browser-based version (try going full screen now! It should work a lot better!)

One thing to be aware of in this update is that existing save files on the Poly Route or Day 1 (both versions) will no longer be compatible due to some fairly drastic changes to the contents and file structure of this content. Note that due to a bug, saves made on the Poly Route using Chapter Select to get there may still be loadable and showing "Introduction" as their route due to a now-fixed bug. You probably don't want to try loading these, but you don't need me to tell you what to do - just don't report it to us when everything implodes! Note that these incompatibilities won't affect your other saves or your gallery unlocks - these should remain intact.

And as a final note, a fair bit was changed, broken, then fixed again in this update so there's more of a potential for bugs than usual. Funny story, I was poised to release this update about an hour ago until I stumbled across a pretty major issue we hadn't found in testing just as I was about to write this post! That's now fixed, and everything has been rebuilt, so fingers crossed there aren't any more I missed. If there are however, drop a comment below or use the "report-a-bug" channels in our discord to let us know so we can get things patched up!

Features, Improvements and Bug Fixes:
• Updated Ren'Py to Version 8.2.0.24012702 which includes improvements for the browser-based client as well as under the hood improvements for Android.
• The Axel, Dom & Russell route has been renamed to the Polyamorous Route for simplicity in the chapter select as well as on new save files.  
• Selecting the Poly Route via Chapter Select now asks which character you want to pursue, fixing instances of missing dialogue in previous versions.
• Fixed a short sequence in TaiDay20x5 where his ring necklace wasn't present but should have been.
• Fixed an issue where selecting the Axel, Dom & Russell route via Chapter Select would produce saves whose route would incorrectly read as 'Introduction.'
• Saves files from all previous versions that were made in either the Intro (Day 1, Both Versions) or the poly route (Patreon Only) are no longer compatible in 0.59 due to the extent of the changes made to that content. All other save files should continue to work as normal.
   • Note that due to a chapter select related bug, poly route saves started this way may show the route as 'Introduction' on the save file. These will still appear loadable, but probably won't work - we suggest you delete these files.
• Fixed the inconsistent appearance of bold text shown on save file error messages, ie: "Incompatible Version!"
