Pretty Orc Warlock and SpellJammer Lich take the win for January release! This will be the last month of the two models with variants before we hit the new model in January.

This will also free up some time to start pre supporting the old variants to add to the Welcome box!

Accessory polls and the next hero idea gathering will be up soon!

I'd also like to take this time to be an idea of what you all are looking for with the Pretty Orc Warlock. If I have time I may be able to do both versions, but I want to see where interest lies for priority's sake.

*EDIT* Awesome results so far! I just wanted to make sure there was significant interest in the dude orc as well. I expected the Lady to win but I was curious about the margin. Looks like there will be a sexy dude too

I am not even sure why polls like this exist. I have never seen a poll asking this sort of question go any other way.

Aye, typically when you get a poll for male/female, 99 times out of 100 you'll get female win... But then, in all fairness, I think that's more to do with the severe lack of (decent) female models from certain popular model companies, rather than just purely 'thirsty nerds' :P

Micah Raymond Maloney

Honestly, both, but the thing is... there are soooooo many male miniatures out there, especially with orcs. Heck, another Patreon released an orc heavy infantry, and I was disappointed that there were about 8 orcs, and yet every single one was male. At least one, here and there, allows them to be used as PC miniatures, or NPCs that don't feel quite as ridiculous, considering that in most fantasy settings, female orcs do not stay home like most human women did in the same settings and history. Different cultures, and as an orc, wouldn't you rather have a partner who can defend your family and honor if you die in battle?

Jamie

I'd love for you to have more opportunities to make male figures, but in this case I had to vote female - there are so few female orc figures, and those that exist are either non-feminine or comedy-sexy. But maybe I'm just biased because I'm in a campaign with an insecure orc barmaid. 😅

What’s the new model post January?

Scrim

Voted for both, since there are good points to both.

Hate to say it, but I will almost always vote for the female fig. I am a particular fan of the modular options that we get here too, meaning I have multiple female versions possible. Our TwinGoddess is one of the very few that do this at all, much less with female figures. Plus, while usually buxom, they are more dynamic poses instead of the typical "look at my chest" poses that are out there. Take our recent Goblin ladies. Four bodies (for us Heroes) with a mix of hands and heads. This could do the staff of a large Goblin bar. Her models, their quality, and all the options are going to sell me on the ladies every time.

I am so with you man, they always look great with about being to far out there, its sad to see the variants go but i mean if it would of meant we would have gotten four more goblin ladies in different poses with the variant designs seems like the better way to go about it.

All I know is Pretty Lady Orc makes me immediately think of this bit of art: https://www.deviantart.com/deussolar/art/Dancing-Orsimer-583393294
