This summer on my drive out to pick up Miss Echo for our photo weekend in early September I took the scenic route and ended up driving but this abandoned Drive-In.

I INSTANTLY WANTED TO SHOOT HERE.

I ventured out the next week alone to see what I could grab. I pulled in and I was by myself but as I walked around I noticed how close I was to the road. That half the fence was gone so if drives looked over they'd be able to see me pretty completely. The Drive-In also backs up onto a farm field that was being maintained while I was there, so there were multiple tractors moving up and down the field.

The longer I stayed the most anxious I got.

I'm not sure why - possibly because I've stopped antidepressants within the last 6 months, but it's now easier for me to fall into panic attacks. Not wanting that to happen I shot for maybe about 15 - 20 minutes and then left.  (The photos you see here being the result.)

I didn't forget about it though, it's SUCH A GOOD FIND! I just needed a partner in crime so I wasn't alone.

Luckily a new photo friend @eveunleashed came up for the weekend at the end of September and she was more than happy to explore this place with me. She also brought her partner who parked by the entrance so if anyone drove in they would meet them first instead of stumbling upon us. That was EXACTLY what I needed. We had a great shoot. When I write this I've only seen my photos from it but what I shot of her is amazing!

I'll most def post a follow-up with photos I took of her and her or me. So happy this worked out!

**Just to be clear these photos are of me and by me. When I post anything that @eveunleashed took I'll name her specifically.**
