Vesta, our new NPC is already getting her forge fired up!

I've spent the last couple days on this and I've got to say they were well spent!
This new crafting menu has been built with adaptability in mind:

  • 1 item for 1 equip isn't that ... crafty... more trade-y I'd say, but it's lighter and I don't like the idea of needing many materials in order to craft a single weapon or armor ( also consider you can have up to 500 Progeny + various Princesses to dress up!).
    In any case a more advanced crafting is already possible within this, but it's still not sure if it will be used anywhere
  • Crafty Patron NPCs are now possible, it doesn't require any additional work on the existing system
  • A single monster part can be used for multiple purposes (the Cucco's Hard Beak can be used to craft the "Cucco Style" hat and the "Chicken Sickle" weapon~) 

There will be new craftable mats you can get from most of the big monsters in the game, so be sure to pay a visit to her on your way to the Clocktown!

I love the fact that this feature doesn't follow the cliche RPG trope of where you have to grind for MULTIPLE parts of a recipe from MULTIPLE sources. Simple is best. Especially when there's plenty of other stuff in the game to focus on~

Yea, I felt like filling inventories with random stuff to craft into one wouldn't have been that much fun. The system allows for a couple monster parts to be combined into a single item though, it will likely be used for stronger stuff (recipes are also possible with this thing btw)
