Patron Exclusive - Lost Art (Patreon)

I drew a lot last year, which inevitably means a lot of the things I drew never got finished and abandoned, so I figured it'd be fun to post some of the things that never saw the light of day while giving a little insight into why I dumped them. 

A portrait of Aven. This was originally going to be my pride-themed art of the year but I decided toward the end to redo it and instead we got the enby lollipop art instead. It was basically 90% done. 

This was one of a few art fight ideas I had bouncing around (I can't seem to find the other few I had). On the left is a king cheetah character I found paired with Aven. The idea was to have a bunch of cheetah-shaped silhouettes in the background/foreground - like a yearly cheetah meetup type idea. Also bubble tea. Unfortunately I got quite sick during artfight month and had surgery the following month, so it was never finished :D

The magical bunny adopt. I started this closed to the beginning of the year and simply couldn't dedicate enough time to it. This is one that isn't completely abandoned and I might start from scratch while following the same design sometime this year :D

This was supposed to be a big group image of all my OCs together at a Halloween party, costumes and all. Unfortunately I was too ambitious and didn't have the time to dedicate to it, so instead only Tula and her pumpkin got drawn in the end 😇

Rore flexing. Simply just another sketch lost to the void. There's too many errors I see in this one now for me to go back and fix it, but the idea still pings around my brain. 

A painting of Tula. Another one I started shortly before I was unwell. It never really exited the ugly phase of painting and there's a lot wrong with it. I'll paint the soft pink lizard again one day. 

Vae as a clouded leopard. As time went on I liked this less and less so I just abandoned it. Now Vae's furry-alt is a yeen :)

My first attempt at giving Vae some sort of ref sheet. I don't mind the pose but I ended up drawing the head/neck like 10 times and eventually stopped being interested in what was left. 

The second attempt at a ref-type image that I fiddled around with some shading on. Again I liked the pose but I gradually lost interest in it, and looking at it now, there's too many errors and I'd rather just start fresh again 

Some sketches of a Zonai OC I tinkered with after TotK's launch earlier last year. I ended up using one of the poses for a piece of Aven, but otherwise the rest I never used for more than what you see now. Not sure I'll ever have a Zonai OC but I wouldn't mind drawing some more Rauru fan art in the future

Unnamed wolf and dragon. These two have bounced around my head for years now and I've never quite gotten them to a stage that feels 'right'. You'll see these two again I'm sure. 

I'm sure there's more floating around on my iPad and in random folders I forgot about but there's a few things I worked on last year that never made it past the WIP stage.
