Health and Commission update (Patreon)

Pic unrelated I just wanted a cute header. It's been a while since my last update. I'll keep it short.

First things first,

Health

Since November last year I've been dealing with chronic biliary colic, also known as gallstones. There's a handy link if you'd like to know more about it but the tl;dr is it causes intense abdominal pain and make every meal an anxiety-inducing event. The past nine months have been pretty tough on me mentally AND physically, due to this.

There is good news though. After a long wait I had surgery to remove the gallbladder on Wednesday to correct the issue. The bad news is I'll need some time to recover. I'm currently still feeling mentally very tired and physically very sore, but I'm very keen to start drawing again. I'll need a few weeks to rest and heal, which leads into the next section.

Commissions

I (obviously) can't open for commissions at the moment. I apologise for not opening much the past couple of months - I've also been fending off some serious commission-related burnout in the background while also contending with health issues/other life stuff which has made drawing very difficult lately. With that said I'm not sure when I'll be open next, but if I begin to feel better over the next few weeks then I'll consider opening my form to gather interest :D

As usual, thanks for sticking with me the past year. It's been difficult trying to juggle starting a business, trying to make the art thing work financially, and my health being less than stellar and, yeah. yeah
Sorry to those who have inquired about comms too, I genuinely hope I can open to take on more work as soon as I'm healthy again.
