It doesn't exist as a PDF at the moment. There is a Chrome extension and such to read epubs though, and smartphones can handle them directly.

I thought that the stuff for Amazon Kindle only required the taking down of free versions? So wouldn't Patreon be safe?

It's anywhere besides Amazon for Kindle Unlimited. They don't allow competition for it, except for 10%. If you do regular Kindle, you can do whatever though.
