Reverse Asset Theft Idea? (Patreon)

This is some personal art. But I was thinking if there was a term for the reverse of asset theft. Where a character that is high in power or is a god gives to a weaker person, but is overwhelmed by the sheer feeling of constantly growing more powerful, and being unable to contain it breaks down their mental state.

I know it exists a lot in action cartoons where taking hits by an opponents increases their strength by making it their own, but the solution a lot of the time is to keep on hitting that the character reaches its limit and collapses.

It might be interesting to explore this idea more.
