APRIL Rewards - Pleated Skirts! (Patreon)

This month's Cosplay101 will be all about pleated skirts!! (aka my most worn item of clothing)

I'm starting to make Heartthrob Caitlyn from League of Legends this month. I'll be starting with her skirt which I'll use as a base for this tutorial. I plan to cover:

• Patterning
• Types of pleats (box, knife etc)
• Construction (pleating, sewing the waistband/zip, hemming etc)
• Fabric recommendations

Since this tutorial aims to cover the basics of pleated skirts I'll be skipping over some of the more complex details of Caitlyn's skirt (ie the silver split panel). This skirt is just as much of a challenge for me personally, so I'm aiming to level up my own sewing skills too with this project!
