Without spoilers I have to say, it was a fun ride, but I still feel it suffers from the problem I feared it would all along: it's just not a story begging to be told, and I feel no matter what the narrative was, it could never feel as - let alone more - compelling than the arc for Han we've already seen. The most interesting part of his story (well, sans the years between VI and VII, but that would be more of a family & political drama I doubt anyone but me wants to see lol) has already been seen on screen in both the original trilogy and The Force Awakens imho. So, my verdict is: fun, not bad by any means, just... not as engrossing or compelling or vital as the existing Solo canon, and therefore suffers from feeling contrived and meandering somewhat.
