And gosh... this piece definitely gave me a bit of trouble! I sketched it out last Monday as a little meditative act to get off the computer, but the second I scanned it and started working on it digitally, I fell into the usual trappings of trying to make it a little too perfect and cleaned up! Happy with the results but the road here had a few too many iterations and failures along the way for my tastes, and ended with me deciding to be done with it rather than being completely happy with it. Definitely learned a thing or two, though! At the very least, it's gonna be a comfort to sink back into the familiarity of working on the comic in the coming days. :)
