Coming Soon - Patron-Only Commissions (Patreon)
Content
Hey y'all! Hope spring's been treatin everyone well. ♥
I've been extremely fortunate to be able to take a break from commissions over the past few months, and it really did me well after running so low on stamina last year. Between the success of the Crossing That Bridge book, the debut of A Show of the Ropes, and especially everyone's support here on Patreon, I've been able to pay my bills, explore some new narrative territory with my characters, and shed some weight off my shoulders.
On the other hand, this break put a lot of things in perspective for me! For however much work commissions may be, they're invaluable for how they help me connect and give back to the community here! I've been feeling a certain level of detachment as of late, and it ain't something I'm too fond of. So, how about some commissions? :)
I've been thinking for a while about the best way to structure patron-only commissions while still retaining the degrees of control I like to have over the selection process, and I think I've cooked up something good! Commissions start at $150 for a single character, but patrons can receive a discount based on an aggregate of their monthly pledge amount plus the total amount of months they've been pledged to my Patreon. So, for example, if your current pledge is $10/mo, and you've been pledged for 5 months, you get a total of 15% off your commission!
The quality of these commissions would likely be a bit nicer than my sketchstream pieces, but a little less refined than my nicer linework, not unlike the quality seen in A Show of the Ropes. Backgrounds, extra characters, alternates, etc would be available as well, though the prices for each are TBD. I'm thinking of taking only 3-4 per month to start and see what I can manage from there, in addition to the usual flow of comic pages. :)
Once again I really sincerely appreciate the fact that y'all have enabled me to take such a lengthy break, and I'm happy to say I am now chock-full of energy and ready to get back into this side of furry art. ♥♥
Love y'all!
