Holy heck! Holy moley! Goodness gracious! This past weekend, I publicly posted "Sleepover Pt. 1" and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Not only have I been graced by about 20 new faces here, but I've also met & surpassed my original goal of 50 total patrons! The fact that y'all would direct some of your hard earned money toward my career as a freelance smut artist means more than me than I can put into words. All I can say right now is "holy shit, thank you!"

All that being said, my original goalpost of 50 patrons wasn't completely arbitrary! I told myself that this would be a sort of turning point at which I'd start to funnel some more of my energy into creating exclusive content here. So, together, lets figure out exactly how to do that!

For now, I'd love some input on possibly restructuring my Patreon from "per creation" to "per month." I originally chose "per creation" as it allowed me some wiggle room in the event that I wasn't able to produce the promised biweekly illustrations, AKA I didn't want anybody to be shorted if they paid a monthly fee and got less content than they were promised! However, at this point I'm confident in my ability to keep up with that pace without a problem, as I've been at it for over 6 months now! I don't want to make this switch without discussing it with you folks first! This Patreon is as much mine as it is yours!

Pros of switching to monthly:

- No longer are you at the whim of how many or few illustrations I decide to produce within a month. This means I'd be able to ramp up production to 3, even 4 illustrations per month depending on how many patrons I have, without breaking your bank by charging for each individual piece.

- It keeps things simple as far as posting tier-locked content. Currently, I'm always fearful that the procurement of my high-resolution files & PSD's can be done without paying. If I switch to monthly, that shouldn't even be possible.

- It's a great rhythm to be in! I've already got my commission openings & sketchstreams on a monthly cycle, and anything new like high-resolution packs, monthly polls, exclusive sketchstreams, etc, would be easy for me to keep up with.

Cons of switching to monthly:

- In the event that I'm not able to produce two illustrations per month, well, that'd absolutely stink on my part. I've been keen to prioritize and allot myself time for Patreon-exclusive content until now, so I can't see this being a problem unless something huge happened in my life, good or bad!

- The pricetag would look higher, but it wouldn't be. My three tiers would be raised up from 1/3/5 twice a month, to 2/6/10 once a month, to keep my income the same. I can see how a larger pricetag might detract folks from pledging!

- ??? Heck if I know! What are your experiences with either system, and which one do you think is better?

Personally you're the only artist I back who is by creation. And that's fine, but I've also had good luck with monthly artists. Even those who don't post as often. I'd be all for seeing you go to monthly and would probably back more since I could plan on it being fixed. I was always worried about "what if they suddenly post 18 things out of nowhere..."

Oh my gosh I would never ever post more than 2 things a month under this plan, I couldn't imagine doing that to y'all!

Monthly is easier to manage my finances, I would prefer it!

The biggest problem with per creation is people have no idea how much it will cost them, even if you say you plan on making two a month. It makes more sense for people to just pay for 2x the per creation amount every month since that's your expectation. I think the per creation model works better for people who make stuff less often, like once every couple of months. So people don't have to pay until something happens.

When you put it like this, it feels like I probably should've been doing monthly the whole time!

Consider me convinced: I'm gonna switch over to monthly ASAP
