You know, it always was quite puzzling how they fit that game onto one cart :D.

But ah, Professor Layton and the Curious village, the game that kickstarted the entire franchise off and cemented its way into the hearts of many a DS owner (me and my partner's included, but more so my partner because she's the smart one and I was typically mostly interested in, prepare yourself, the sliding puzzles).

With an aesthetic and atmosphere that feels so french/belgian/eurocentric and a wonderfully jaunty and sometimes haunting soundtrack, the series would slowly drift a bit away from this from game to game but you'd always be guaranteed to be met with the dapper and gentlemanly Hersel Layton and his young budding protege Luke Triton.

Quite happy with how this turned out and especially happy to team up with Beatscribe to start accompanying demakes when possible, with some tasty chiptune jams!
