Ah! Chibi-Robo, now there was a GameCube game if there ever was a game released on Gamecube which, ah let's see, oh there were actually quite a number of those it seems!

Well anyway, there truly aren't many games like Chibi-Robo. I played this for the first time a few years back and what an absolutely charming game. Not only in terms of gameplay but the setting and overall aesthetic. I really can't think of another game that uses so much of the 60's aesthetic as Chibi-Robo and it oozes style due to it!

Capturing it in greyscale doesn't really nail the absolute vividness of the game but I think I mostly captured the general essence!

There doesn't seem to really be any easy way of playing Chibi-Robo these days so fingers crossed Nintendo rereleases it for Switch at some point! Just a port on modern systems would be grand, I think the game has aged extremely well visually.

Haha yeah I was surprised at how it just really used that kitschy 60's style to a T. And achievable indeed, boot that rom into an emulator ;P or put it on a flashcart if able. Doesn't look too shabby on hardware! Also haha, I thought the game aged pretty well, it could have done with a few more polygons perhaps, at least they went with a nice cartoony style than anything realistic! :D

Thank you! It's such a wonderful game, I really hope it gets a switch port so more people can experience it.
