Athena

To answer the question; I'm definitely more on the side of 'things are how they are and there isn't any magical knowitall to it' However! I do like to keep an open mind and won't fully discount anyone's beliefs or superstitions right off the bat. I definitely do not think it's good or healthy to rely on those things, but at the end of the day if it makes them happy or gives them some semblance of peace, than I can see why they do what they do. To be honest, my beliefs are always changing. Mainly staying within the realm of science and whatnot, but there are some moments that I had where I do believe not everything can be explained so easily. There are such questions of life that have no scientific answers, and those questions keep me curious. How does anything exist at all? How did the first existence come to pass? Questions with no answers. And that keeps me inspired, keeps me questioning. I love the ideas that can come out of the unknown. I think the universe is a terrifying and wonderful thing, and there's so much we don't know about it. So while I lean towards Zokka's side of the argument, I can also respect certain aspects of whimsical belief. So long as it's, yknow, not going to end with your village being buried under lava.
