I remember see this episode come on as it aired. I only saw the first 30 seconds at the time. Because at that time my parents didn't let me watch movies and series with magic in it. (Unfair and weird I know) But I've now seen this series like 14 times plus. And I WISH I had seen it sooner.

Wasn't sure if you'd recognize the voice of John De Lancie. I certainly didn't at first watch, not being into Star Trek. (I much preferred Star Wars.) But I heard it around afterwards and got swept up in the hype. ^_^ Yeah, Q, and the very similar character here in Discord (not the social platform). ;)

On the subject of human follies, another word you could think of is Pride. (thinks of song "Biggering") The Bible also speaks of the "love of money" (NOT money itself) as the "root of all evil". Makes sense. And lust is another common topic there. Sort of a twisted and corrupt form of love. Love is love, right? So they say. Unless it's lust. 🥵

Also have heard talks around the fandom about chaos not being evil in itself.  Nothing wrong with a little variety or unpredictability in life, depending on its form, how you look at it or where you apply it. They've even classified Discord as "chaotic neutral" rather than purely evil (though he's still a big jerk at this stage).
