Would raising the minimum tier hurt you financially? (Patreon)

Would raising the minimum tier to $5 hurt you financially / or make you unable to support at the present time.  

You guys give me the resources to work on youtube, as my job.  Although as time has passed things around me have gone up and up in price and we are increasing the amount we produce.  This might be going on with you as well the price increases , so I wanted to have a  conversation with you all and see if this would be to much for your own balance sheets.  

You may be going through things I'm not privy too, and with that I wanted to do this in the most responsible way I can. Which is
A:
Give people time and not raise things suddenly.
B:
Have an honest convo and see what your thoughts are
