I would like to add to the comment of the day of this episode about Rose. I absolutely agree with it. Thing is, we are learning in reverse about the actions of Rose. We are learning about the good things that she did before she had Steven when she was the most grown and mature she could've ever been, then we start to see the cracks about her when we are delving into the Crystal War for the earth and then so on and so forth. A lot of people by the end of the series have a new perspective on Rose's actions and some people have grown to dislike her and call her a liar. But it's just so easy to forget that the things she did in the past didn't represent the person that she was at the end of her life. Now does that make her invulnerable to comments about her past mistakes? No of course not. But people tend to forget that Rose was a pretty wonderful person before she had Steven. People grow and mature. And the perspective of seeing how Rose changed from Crystal Gem rebel leader too well, a mother with a passion for earth is charming for me.
