Extended Thoughts:

I think the most endearing thing about this episode was we got to see Steven's dad be a tad bit more vulnerable and really dealing with his feelings of feeling worthless. Him feeling like he can never really help in the way that he feel like he should. Since Steven's dad is a musician,  a creative and free spirit. I understand sometimes how he feels and terms of just feeling like where is my place.  Honestly I'm glad that Greg helped and was able to  help the Crystal Gems  which help and view him in a more respectful light if you will.

Also, I have to say even though lapis has not had that much screen time. There is something about her that is enchanting, and tragically sad just wanted to throw that out there.

I think David missed a couple episodes this episode should be episode 50. episode 46 should "open book" 47 "shirt club" 48 "say uncle" 49 "story for steven then this one

I mean it isnt serious was just mentioning it. It would be more serious if those episodes were important but to the over arcing story they aren't

Yeah definitely missed a few episodes. Some really good episodes too.

I didn't think so much about it when I was watching the show, but now I tell myself that Greg reminds me a bit of Kyle Gass, half of Tenacious D (the other being Jack Black). The bald head, the plumpness, the sound of his voice and the acoustic guitar. I'm not going to be able to get that image out of my head now.

Oh neat detail! This is the first ep where we see that Garnet has electricity powers.

I’ve loved seeing your reaction to the past few episodes! These episodes are crucial as they really feather out the characters, even some of the side characters like Greg and Lars. Looking forward to the next episode reaction!

Actually the first time we see Garnet use her electric powers is S1E11 Arcade Mania after Steven unplugs the Meat Beat Mania machine. She use her powers to jumpstart and power the now unplugged machine.
