I hope you go back and do the episode you missed! It's not super plot important but I think it'll create some good conversation. And it sets up the Sadie/Lars dynamic for future episodes :) That said, with this episode, it's hard to NOT cry when he's sitting in the arms of his mom's statue musing about her.

Fun fact; Amethyst has real dialogue in this episode if you reverse her audio. She also "predicts" what's going to happen next and tells Steven.

A thing that I really loved was this detail... Connie's glasses always had a pink tint. She literally had rose-colored glasses. But in this episode, she gets rid of them, and she gets pulled into a lot... darker stuff.
