I love Kleins character, he’s meant to represent all the 7 dwarfs which makes his character super fun! That Pyrrha scene is heart breaking and apparently Weiss’ VA watched this episode before meeting up with the other Rwby girls and was in tears 😭! The schnee family have enough money to cope through the embargo this is definitely greed on Jacques part! Weiss would definitely would have sung for the charity event if it was anyone else asking. Her father has ulterior motives and she knew she didn’t have a choice either way.

Pyrhha video makes me tear up every time, no matter how many times I've replayed that scene! Thanks for the trivia about Weiss' VA, I didn't know that!

Concerning Weiss' dad, their livelihood may be dust, but they're not just getting by. He can afford to be polite and kind, he just chooses not to be and it grates on my nerves.

After coming back to this from V8, I can practically SEE the rigging in the animation here. Especially in the scene where Weiss is laughing with Klein. Comparatively, it is SO janky to even just V6, let alone V8. Of course, they were getting used to Maya after Poser. But coming off the heels of V3, this is definitely a MASSIVE improvement.

No yeah... that is textbook manipulation. Yep... nah. Business is one thing but forcing your daughter to participate in something that will most likely trigger her is not okay no matter the reason. Also don't know if you caught it. But apparently Weiss has locked herself away in her room since she came home. So yeah if Weiss is so depressed that she isn't even leaving her bedroom unless summoned. What makes you think that she is in the right mindset to do this concert. She hasn't even had therapy to discuss what happened.

Really late because im just now catching up: yeah so the thing is, the universe really is not deterministic. Heisenberg kinda fucked that up when he discovered the uncertainty principle (that, as with everything in science, could be disproven): basically, you cannot ever be sure of the position as well as the movement of a particle. This, along with other factors of quantum mechanics, lead to the existence of true randomness, which is inconsistent with determinism. So to the comment at the beginning: scientifically speaking, to the best of our knowledge, there is no fate based on determinism.
