Finally get to meet Tyrian (crazy laughy guy)! Definitely a...fun?...character we all love to hate. I actually got to meet the voice actor Josh Grelle (2019, Before Covid...the new BC), such a sweet teddy bear compared to the insanity that is Tyrian!! ...also, 28:18, how appropriate that technical issues jammed in at exactly the moment of discussion about communications and the CCT being wrecked ;)

it took me a while to get used to the art style, mostly it was an improvement but I remember being very critical but hey, I always hate the change and end up loving it :D

More folks have been critical in the very noticeable change in animation style rather than the art/rendering style, especially as the show goes on as the art really improves with each season. The animation does too, of course (by nature of time and experience), but no one can replace Monty. Also, fun fact, Jaune has always had that Pumpkin Pete hoodie (you can see it peek out underneath his armor as early as V1), and Pumpkin Pete was the cereal that Pyrrha was featured on the box of.

Finally I have someone to watch vol4 and 5 with! I originally didn’t pay much attention because of the drop in animation quality (which as other people said has since gotten drastically better with season 6) so it’ll be nice to rewatch what I’ve missed. Also this is RWBY flexing their budget hiring voice actors like Christopher Sabat, Josh Grelle and Jennifer Lee Taylor😂😂 you’ve also got great villain taste, Tyrian is one of my favs
