Ruby gets shit done this episode! The speed in which she bounces back, takes action and has this hyper fixation on what needs to be done, really shows why she was chosen as Leader and I love her for it! This is one of those episodes where you’re just saying “surly it couldn’t get any worse” then they throw a Grimm spawning dragon at you 😂

I just realized how similar Yang vs Neo is to General Ironwood's mindset when it comes to fighting intelligent villains. During Yang's fight, Yang was only focused on beating Neo and hitting her with all of her strength. While Neo was strategizing on how to defeat Yang and beat Yang because she is a little bid of a bonehead when it comes to fighting. I think the General's mindset is similar to what I just explained.

My man David just pumping them out for us isnt he, which is great. Recently got back into Rwby and just caught all the way back up. I joined here just to hear the reactions and commentary which You are honestly amazing at. You see little things I would never think of and watching it through again I notice so much more that just slips by because of the action going on, like how for all of a second it cuts to Penny's dad back in Atlas. This show starts off strong and just gets better and better in the music, animation, and storytelling. I can't wait for your reaction to the Finale. It's just such a shame the creator Monty Oum died during this season, he got to see his dream take shape and begin to flower but never got to see it in full bloom. May he rest in peace 1981-2015

Two more episodes David, and it only gets worse... I cannot wait to see your reactions to ep 11 and 12. Remeber who the main cast are based on, JNPR, RWBY, and Ozpin's group. A lot of those inspirations will come into play soon enough.

With the question on if everyone at the arena was a student, for the most part the answer is yes. That being said the entire school probably isn't used just for training Huntsmen, they likely have normal classes similar to My Hero Academia where the primary focus is training

long story short yeah they are students and probably could help, but the budget was probably too low to make battle uniforms for all of them so only previously featured contestants fight and the rest of the background characters just run for their lives.
