As we stand we have 217 active patreons and that is a beautiful thing and I just wanted ask you guys, even the lurkers lol what makes you want to support?  This has crossed my mind because, there are way larger reaction channels in the reaction space that have a fraction of the Patreons. So why did you guys take the leap of faith on this channel is it, the videos themselves,  the way we do our reaction videos, I want to know so whatever is I stay true and continue doing what I'm doing!


I swear it was the responding of comments on Youtube but I want to hear from you Hoomans!

And also Happy Thanksgiving,  working on some videos today before dinner tonight!

Started with the music reactions, because honestly there’s not a lot of musical background in the rwby musical reaction crowd. I’m no musician either, but someone who is able to grasp exactly why and to what degree these songs are great is refreshing.

I love the Rwby series and the songs. The first video I watch of yours was a reaction to one of them. When I found out you were going to react to the series, I thought it would be interesting to see someone reaction who doesn’t know what’s going to happen yet. You also seem like a nice person who cares about their fan base.

It's pretty simple really. Started by watching a lot of your music reactions, which got really interesting when you started reacting to every single RWBY Song. I love how you break some if it down and explain, while also having a ton of fun with it. Became a Patron so I could watch your RWBY reactions early. That's pretty much it.

Like most people, I found you through the RWBY music. But I was one of the first since I found your This Life Is Mine video. I love hearing about the musicianship of the music since I know Jeff is crazy good at the stuff. That particular video caught my attention because it's my #1 song for the series. Like hands down. Even with as much as I love Indomitable, that will ALWAYS be my favorite. Unless, somehow, Jeff manages to write a new Weiss song that's even better. But honestly, I stayed for your personality. You're just extremely authentic and positive about the series and the music which is something this fandom sorely lacks. Any bright spark is REALLY welcome.

Like a lot of people I found you through RWBY, but I love listening to your commentary. It's always insightful and you bring such genuine enthusiasm with you to every recording that leaves me feeling refreshed after watching. I had seen a few of your RWBY song reacts pop up on my home page and finally checked one out and loved it! Growing up, i was involved in a bunch of music stuff and studied a lot of theory, so I really enjoy hearing you bring music theory analysis into reactions of styles of music that are often ignored in music theory circles. I also just love the energy you bring to your videos. I think I joined patreon shortly after you started releasing reactions to RWBY episodes (which I also love). I like supporting smaller creators on patreon and was happy to sign up here

Personally, it's more for you. The way you are, the joy you spread, the way you react, make the videos very pleasant to follow, very entertaining. It's nicer to follow someone who reacts like you, who also knows his stuff, than someone who knows, but has no reaction and speaks monotonously. Afterwards, i'm French, English is not my native language, i'm probably missing some part in the transcription, but for me, i really appreciate the atmosphere of your videos.

The first video of yours I watched was the RWBY 'This Life Is Mine' reaction, and then as you started doing more rwby reacts I subscribed on yt, and then I became a patron in part to get earlier access to your rwby series reacts. But that's just the content stuff, in general I'm just fond of your energy and vibe and also the way you talk about and deconstruct the more technical musical stuff is awesome. There are lots of reactors out there who might do similar stuff to you, but your personality and wholesome vibe just tie the ribbon on top.

I always like how you break down all the harmonies, melodies, rhythms, and instruments. You always find the parts that I miss when I listen to those songs (Mainly the RWBY songs). I appreciate the level of depth that you have in your analyzes' and when I go back to listen to the music, it adds more depth and new perspectives than what was there before. While there might be other reactors, no one has YOUR amazing personality and your videos are always worth the wait. Thank you for what you do!

This was actually why I was hesitant to produce reaction in the first place there are a metric TON of reaction channel that don't add anything to the meduim so before I embarked I wanted to try to do something different. If you look at my older videos it was me experimenting with the medium but I found a thing that make the content stick out for my taste!

And one of the things I think about is that there is sooooooo much passion for this IP (intellectual property ) that I view myself as kinda of a caretaker in other words, the passion you guys give me I aim to give it back. Add commentary and interesting perspectives to further discussions etc.

I saw your reaction to This life is mine from RWBY and i just loved your energy, most reaction channels are a bit too much... A lot of those channels feels the need to talk every two seconds and not really watching what they are supposed to watch(at least that's what i feel like they're doing all the time) and it's just getting on my nerves... It's your vibe and your energy that you bring to everything. Not to mention the way you break down as you react to things. I kinda learn a lot when I watch reaction videos from people who actually know what they are talking about so it's always incredibly interesting when it's done. And this path isn't easy and I know that there are a lot of sleepless night and some anxiety that goes with it, (as I'm sure you have probably felt before too) but it means alot hearing that from someone else that creates! And the community thing was basically my attempt to make a reaction videos channels more than that but a shot of actually improving peoples love in a fundamental way. RWBY (This Life Is Mine -- An Opera in a Song) is how I found you. I decided to support because you seem to have real, immediate reactions and an understanding music/instruments far better than I do. I have listened to plenty of the songs many times, but cannot identify which instrument does what and so on. Also, the other RWBY music reactions I've seen on YTube go album by album (i.e. LONG videos) and the song-by-song model you do works a lot better for me. Doesn't hurt that there is more than RWBY too - I was unaware that original music was even a part of the Tangled Series before seeing you react to it. Have not made it through your back catalog yet, but I'm getting there in time. Last big thing -you are very positive; you do not seem to focus on anything that is 'bad' about a song. Plenty of reactors go very critical or negative and I'm not about that for music or anything else really (I'm thinking about Cinema Sins in particular, but there are plenty of others).

tbh I think I only discovered you because I REALLLLLY procrastinated on watching rwby vol 7. I usually watch the first episode or so of a new volume and then wait until the season is done, say i'll watch it over the summer, don't get to watching it over the summer, and watch it in late august/early september.But this time I waited until early/mid october, when there were only weeks left until the new volume. So after I saw volume 7 I downloaded the soundtrack and then went down a caleb hyles rabbit hole. That rabbit hole led me to your this life is mine reaction. And then I got hooked because even though I usually dont like reaction videos (esp rwby reaction videos) I like it when experts analyze things. Your analysis is good, you have a really good vibe, and you post often. What surprised me the most was that you replied to my comments. I have never seen a youtube engage that much before this. Actually another of my favorite youtubers , lindsay ellis, kinda shows a wary disdain of communicating with fans and directly says she doesn't read the comments (once I tried to attend live QA session with her but then found out that it wasnt really live because all questions had to be submitted beforehand). Its really cool to be into a youtuber while they are still relatively small on the platform and making their way. I enjoy seeing you wrack up patreons and hopefully later I'll see you get sponsors and stuff. (at one point you joked about being in rwby vol 11 but that seriously could happen if your growth continues on this trajectory. I've seen relatively small fan channels that have managed to get interviews with jeff williams). tldr: I only discovered you because I hella procrastinated on watching rwby vol 7. If I had watched it before your first rwby react I don't know if I would have found your channel.

First off, the amount of randomness that led you to the channel is insane. it's kind of like the butterfly effect thing if you weren't watching the Caleb Hale's videos, and it wasn't suggested at that exact right time and all those things had to work 😂 Also, for me the idea of community is super important! I noticed that same lack of engagement with other YouTubers as well and granted people still love them anyway but I feel that when you make an extra effort it matters to people. I will never forget when I wanted my first Disney Cruise with my family. and I remember when I got into the cruise ship. There was a man in a white button-down shirt and he introduced every single family on the ship including mine. That level of care that the Walt Disney company had to make sure my experience in my family's experience was spectacular the moment they walked on board was kind of what I was trying to capture but with YouTube 😂 As for the expertise, I'm always learning. I still have a long way to go but all the love and support really made me want to keep pushing on and now I practice about 3 hours a day on music 😂 so thanks for that!

I'm ambitious this is true and but the goal is to obviously build a legacy for myself in some meaningful way but also have people's lives change for the better because they met you is something that I'm really interested in too. which is why the discord community is about self-development and honing your skills with your creativity. in regards to your boyfriend I get it, it is weird to put yourself out there and you will stumble and fall. To be honest, way back in my catalog I used to be negative period but then I remembered how hard it is to actually create something and then put it out there and then have it judged by so many people. And you don't have to completely disparage a work you can simply find the little things that you like that work for you

Hey Hooman! I've watched a lot of people react to RWBY and simply enjoy yours the best. The level of energy and emotion and passion you bring is just perfect and I like how you'll break down some moments and draw parallels to real life and I can't wait to watch the rest of the show with you! I know the copyright stuff is going to be be a pain, just bear with it I promise it will be worth it.
