Random Thought: So my mother who is an older parent was asking me about a basic iphone issue felt really bad interrupting my work.  And I always remember to be patient because one day I may have to learn some insane tech thing that some kids just gets innately.

Fun fact: Go and check the Yellow Trailer. The bar Yang goes into is called The Three Bears. Also keep in mind that the inspirations are kind of sliding scales. Weiss is kind of the most direct (you'll see in V3/V4) with Yang being mostly just visual cues and no real personality traits. However she does also play more into Blake's Beauty and the Beast motifs. Again, you'll learn more as it goes on. Edit: The ketchup stain reference from Indomitable is actually the *world* map. What Roman had was just the city of Vale. :)

OMG I had to pause at 12:36, lol you calling her Ice princess is great. At the end, that map Torchwick has isn't the stain map, it's a map of the area of Vale (the city they are in). The stain map is the world of remnant it'self, so that big map we see in episode 1 (I think it was episode 1) . Finally, thank you so much for the shoutout, also thank you so much for getting my name right lol. I'm really obsessive about learning EVERYTHING about things I like (and I'm also a low key theory crafter) so it's nice to share the trivia I've learned along the way. Knowing things are only as good as they can be shared and used so I'm really happy that you enjoy it. I saw that you uploaded one more, so i'll probably put my next trivia dump in that one. (as always, if it ever get's super annoying, please let me know and I'll stop!) Love your reactions, it's always fun to see someone new geek out to things you like.

A small detail I still love to this day is Weiss' exhaustion after making the glyphs up the cliffside. It's a small moment that they didn't need but helped so much. Also Nora and Ren have known each other for probably close to a decade at this point in the story, so that's why she hangs around him so much

Side note: The leaders of the two teams were also the people who took charge the most in the fight against the giant Grimm (the name for monsters in the world of RWBY) -- Jaune took charge in the plan that defeated the giant scorpion Grimm, and Ruby in the one against the giant bird Grimm.

Wow that SUPER awesome because they planned for them to have their leadership moment before they where awarded the role even ! i didn't think about it that way. And its super brilliant because they still hi light that she still a kid and has to grow into the role!

Yang's goldilocks inspirations is one of the loosest fairytale inspirations. Some of the indicators are her hair, the references to gold associated with her, and the fact that she tends to fight bears a lot. Like in her original trailer she goes to a club where a lot of people (like the DJ) have bear masks on. Also although I don't think they are directly named in full, Junior is a reference to baby bear, and his last name "Xiong" literally means bear in chinese. But its harder to get her reference .For the longest time I thought her inspiration was Rapunzel because of the thing with her hair.

Also a small detail I love is that ruby has beowulves around her head when she's disoriented. Nice little homage to red riding hood.
