This one was interesting it was weird covering something other then RWBY for second.  Only because I was in my head about the commentary ( which I won't do anymore. but I think the final product is serviceable.  Also today is exciting because we are premiering  indomitable on youtube and hopefully we can experience something together as a group in real time

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I used to think the vocalist was hard to hear at first, but after listening to it for years, I can now hear each word pretty clearly. It became one of my favourite songs in Final Fantasy XIV, which has produced some really good songs over the years.

You Know John, final fantasy I always had respect for the people at square enix. Even though i didn't keep up with the Final Fantasy Series, I could always appreciate the craftsmanship. And Also I'm glad I'm not alone not being able to hear here in the mix lol.

Oooh i can't believe i didn't see this. So the nordic, you are right but its...well interesting. The dragons in heavensword are very viking mythos based. Exp the big bad dragon is nidhogg, while you work with(ish) Hraesvelgr. However, this is FF so on top of the nordic feels...you have French-European Catholicism inspired elves that you are working...well for and against. (Not kidding the place of government for them is the holy see of ishgard) the expansion heavensward is...well as broadly i can put it, the dealing with trying to end this eternal conflict between the dragons and elves. Lots of "every act of agression earns immediate reprisals, every reprisal earns acts of agression" ending the cycle of hate stuff. This song, which i love, is about the ancient story of how one dragon and elf feel in love, and made peace happen for a bit, but eventually a deep betrayal caused the current cycle of hatred the players have to deal with. Um...in case you haven't gathered im a lore junkie, so i guess if you every want to know weird lore on something let me know...or if this is annoying and i should try to not over explain every little thing also let me know lol.
